Long Walk Vineyard 2024 Carignane
Carignane as a standalone varietal is a rare find outside of natural wine circles and specialty shops. Most people walk right past it for Zinfandel or a blend — their loss. At $40 for an estate Carignane from Oregon, this is the bottle worth talking about.
Long Walk Vineyard 2024 Zinfandel
At $45, the Zinfandel is the priciest red on the list and the least interesting story Long Walk is telling. Zin is everywhere. Carignane is not. Spend your money accordingly.

A Rhône-style blend built on Southern Oregon fruit needs something with salt, fat, and funk to lean into. The charcuterie board delivers exactly that — cured meat and Field of Stars is a classic pairing logic that doesn't need reinventing.
