The wine list at Logan's Roadhouse is six labels long — and they're all cans. Not cans in a cheeky, natural-wine-at-a-taco-stand kind of way. Just cans. At a steakhouse. In West Texas.
The entire program consists of six 250ml can options: Graham + Fisk's Cabernet, Underwood Pinot Noir, Archer Roose Pinot Grigio, Imagery Chardonnay, Bollicini Sparkling, and La Vieille Ferme Rosé. To Logan's credit, these aren't random convenience store pulls — La Vieille Ferme is a legit everyday Rhône producer, Underwood has a real following, and Imagery makes decent California Chardonnay. But six SKUs, all canned, at a sit-down steakhouse is less a wine program and more a wine afterthought. There's no depth, no Old World representation beyond that lone Rhône rosé, and zero ambition on display.
Everything here is by the can, which is technically also by the glass — 250ml pours, so slightly under a standard bottle's third. No pricing data is available to confirm what they're charging per can, but chain restaurant markups on canned wine tend to sting. Don't expect a rotating BTG program or anything seasonal.

Logan's Roadhouse in Odessa isn't pretending to be a wine destination — and the six-can list confirms that immediately. Order a beer or a cocktail, enjoy the steak, and don't hold the wine program against the kitchen.

Saltgrass doesn't pretend to be a wine destination, and the list reflects that — but the markup is fair, the by-the-glass selection is wide, and there are a few solid picks hiding in plain sight. Come for the steak, drink better than you'd expect.

Barrel & Derrick's private dining room wine list does exactly what it's designed to do: keep oil executives and convention guests comfortable with names they recognize at prices their companies will reimburse. If you're paying out of pocket and actually care about what's in your glass, focus on Penner-Ash or the Amarone and steer hard away from the Silver Oak Napa at $440.
