Wingman Metrics
Six wines. That's it. No sprawling binder, no vintage deep cuts to get lost in — just a tight, curated list that either signals real confidence or creative laziness. Spoiler: it's mostly the former. The selections are specific enough that someone clearly thought about this.
What's interesting here is the intentionality packed into a micro-list. You've got a genuine Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG from Loredan Gasparini — not your average Prosecco house — alongside the Ronco Blanchis Collio Pinot Grigio 2022, which is as serious a Pinot Grigio as you're going to find by the glass in South Florida. The Costaripa Rosa Mara leans into the Italian rosé lane with conviction, and the Brendel Cabernet fills the big-red slot without embarrassing itself. The gap is glaring though: no Champagne, no skin-contact, no aged whites, and the Italian-heavy lineup leaves Burgundy, Rioja, and virtually the entire rest of the wine world off the table.
Everything on the list is by the glass, so at least the math is simple — six options, $12 to $15 a pour. The range covers sparkling, white, rosé, and red without doubling up, which means you're not overwhelmed but you're also not getting a second opinion on anything. Rotation data is unknown, so treat the list as what it is: a snapshot.
Ronco Blanchis Collio Pinot Grigio 2022 — $12
Collio Pinot Grigio is a world apart from the grocery-store version. Ronco Blanchis farms the Collio hills in Friuli, and their Pinot Grigio has real texture and minerality that most people have never tasted. Twelve dollars for this is a genuinely good deal.
Loredan Gasparini Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG
Most people clock 'Prosecco' and assume supermarket bubbles. Asolo Superiore DOCG is a step above the standard Prosecco DOC — hillside fruit, more structure, less sweetness. Loredan Gasparini has been making wine in the Veneto since the 17th century. This is not the stuff they spray at a bachelorette party.
Dino Torti Pinot Noir 2023
A 2023 Pinot Noir on a short list at a wine bar in West Palm Beach raises questions. Young, unfamiliar producer, no context for where this is coming from or whether it's had time to settle. At $15 it's not a robbery, but with only six options to choose from, we'd spend those dollars elsewhere.
Costaripa Rosa Mara 2024 + Charcuterie board
Without a full food menu to work from, a charcuterie spread is the safe assumption for a lounge of this type — and Rosa Mara is exactly what you want with cured meats. It's a Garda rosé with enough acidity to cut through fat and enough fruit to stand up to salty, savory bites. It's built for this.
The Bottom Line
Le Bar is a stripped-down concept that works because the six bottles it chose are actually worth drinking — unusual for a lounge where wine is often an afterthought. If you want depth, go elsewhere. If you want a smart glass of something Italian while you decompress, this earns its keep.

Abe & Louie's is a dependable, well-stocked steakhouse wine program with real depth and knowledgeable staff — it just charges accordingly and rarely colors outside the lines. Send a friend here for a serious bottle of Cab with a prime steak, but tell them to ask the sommelier to find something off the beaten path.
