Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Garden & Gun Club is compact at 23 labels, but it lands with a certain confidence — heavy on approachable California reds, a handful of European whites, and just enough bubbles to cover the celebratory bases. It reads like a list curated to please rather than provoke, which isn't a knock, it's a choice. If you came here expecting deep cellar discoveries, recalibrate.
The red side leans hard into California — Caymus family properties make multiple appearances (Suisun Grand Durif and The Walking Fool Red Blend), Belle Glos and Benton-Lane cover the Pinot Noir base, and Katherine Goldschmidt and The Vice handle Cabernet duty. European representation is thin but present: a Château Côtes de Blaignan from Bordeaux and a Bove Marso Montepulciano add some old-world texture. Whites are similarly crowd-forward — Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc, Saracina Chardonnay, and a Tenuta Maccan Pinot Grigio cover the predictable ground, though the Weingut Bastgen Riesling and a Faustino Rivero Ulecia Albariño show someone on staff has at least a passing interest in something beyond the obvious. The Sancerre appears on the list without a price attached in the data, which makes it the mystery guest at an otherwise very readable party.
Sixteen of the 23 bottles are available by the glass, which is a genuinely impressive pour-program ratio — essentially the whole list is accessible without committing to a bottle. Glass prices run $12 to $22, a range that stays reasonable for Atlanta without being a bargain. The spread covers sparkling (Duc de Valmer Brut Champagne at $12/glass), whites, and reds, so you can work through a few different styles across dinner without breaking the bank.
The Bottom Line
Garden & Gun Club's wine list is exactly what it wants to be: accessible, fairly priced, and loaded with names people recognize. It won't challenge anyone, but it won't embarrass anyone either — and with 16 options by the glass, it's a legitimately good list for a group with mixed tastes. Send a friend here who wants to drink well without doing homework.

Vesper is a reliable pour — a wine bar with a short, approachable list, fair pricing, and a by-the-glass program that's genuinely one of its strongest assets. The Penfolds Bin 389 at $22 a glass and the Vina Pomal Reserva at $13 are both smart pours worth seeking out. It's not destination wine drinking, but it's honest, and in Atlanta, that's enough to earn a repeat visit.

Crave isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that clear. But with fair glass prices, full by-the-glass availability, and a couple of genuinely solid picks like the Calera Pinot Noir, it does its job without embarrassing anyone. If you're here for the food and want a reasonable glass to go with it, you'll be fine — just don't show up expecting regional wines to match the cuisine.

Utopia isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that abundantly clear. If you're here for brunch and mimosas are your goal, fine — but if you want an actual wine experience, Underground Atlanta is not your stop. Order the Prosecco, skip the tower, and adjust expectations accordingly.

Upper Westside · Atlanta · New American/Southern
The Corner Grille Upper Westside keeps its wine program simple, accessible, and mostly fairly priced — this is a neighborhood spot that wants to feed you well and keep your glass full, not win any awards for its cellar. If you're here for Southern comfort food and want an easy, no-fuss glass of wine alongside it, the Septima Malbec or Michel Thomas Sancerre will do the job. Skip the Meiomi, order another appetizer, and let the kitchen do the heavy lifting.

Silom Thai & Sushi Bar clearly has its priorities elsewhere, and that's fine — the food may well be the reason to visit. But the wine list is an afterthought: overpriced crowd-pleasers with no soul and no connection to the cuisine they're supposed to accompany. Order the Chablis if you must, or skip wine entirely and find a better drink on the cocktail or sake menu.

Osha Thai Sushi Galleria's wine list is exactly what it needs to be — accessible, fairly priced, and available almost entirely by the glass. It won't impress a wine nerd, but it won't embarrass anyone either. If you're here for the food, the El Terrano Albariño or Louis Jadot Gamay will carry you through dinner without drama.

Last Dance is the kind of place wine-curious eaters should get excited about — a genuinely creative kitchen in an unpretentious room, with a wine program that at least tries to match the energy. We can't give you specific bottle recommendations until we get a full list in hand, but the regional range alone puts it ahead of most spots at this price point. Go for the liver éclair and the numbing okra, order something from Austria or Argentina, and let the room do its thing. We'll be back with more specifics once the list is fully sourced.

Austin's at Serenbe isn't running a wine program — it's running a non-alcoholic beverage token dressed up as one. If you're looking to drink wine with dinner, plan ahead and ask about corkage, or adjust your expectations dramatically before you sit down.

Largos is doing more with wine than most casual New American spots in a mid-size Georgia city, and the by-the-glass breadth gives almost every diner a workable option. The markups skew steep — especially on the bigger bottles — so lean toward the by-the-glass program, grab the Benton Lane Pinot, and don't overthink it. Worth ordering wine here; just don't order the Santa Margherita.
