Fiesta on Main

You open the wine list at Fiesta on Main and it reads like the shelf at a midsize grocery store — Gallo, Copper Ridge, Redwood Creek, Mirassou. These are wines that exist, technically, but they don't exactly belong alongside a ceviche. The list has 28 labels, which sounds like a decent count until you realize half of them are Gallo products in different costumes.

The list is organized into house wines and bottles, with the house tier dominated by Gallo pours across virtually every varietal — Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, all sitting at $25 a bottle. There's a small gesture toward South American wine with the Gouguenheim Torrontés from Argentina and two Tabernero bottlings from Peru, which at least nods at the restaurant's cuisine. The Alamos Malbec at $25 is the one wine that makes thematic sense and doesn't embarrass itself. Beyond that, the list does nothing adventurous — no pisco-adjacent curiosities, no Chilean gems, no attempt to build something that reflects the kitchen's identity.

Eight pours available, all priced at a flat $8 a glass — which would be reasonable if the wines were worth drinking. The BTG lineup is essentially the house wine tier unlocked, meaning you're choosing between Gallo expressions and a Casal Garcia Rosé. Rotation appears nonexistent; this list has the energy of something typed once and never revisited.
