Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Emory's doesn't try to be something it's not — and that's actually refreshing. You're sitting on a deck overlooking Silver Lake with a plate of salmon in front of you, and the list delivers exactly what that moment calls for: honest Washington State pours at prices that won't ruin your evening. Eighty-four-plus wines for a lakeside lodge in Everett is more than we expected.
The list leans hard into Washington State, which makes sense and earns points for regional integrity. You've got the usual suspects — 14 Hands, Boomtown by Dusted Valley, Dunham Cellars — alongside the Anthony's house labels from Sparkman and Hedges, which are better than their in-house branding suggests. The real highlight is the occasional spotlight on Pomum Cellars, a Yakima Valley producer doing genuinely interesting work with Spanish varietals like Tempranillo and Graciano — not what you expect to find at a casual lakeside spot. The list doesn't venture much outside the Pacific Northwest, so if you're craving Burgundy or even a solid Rioja, you're out of luck.
Ten options by the glass is a respectable spread for this format, and the pricing — $7.50 to $10.50 — is the kind of thing we wish more restaurants understood. The selections lean predictably toward Washington Cab and Chardonnay, but the glass program covers the basics without gouging anyone. Rotation appears minimal; don't expect a lot of surprises week to week.
Boomtown by Dusted Valley Syrah — $9.00
Dusted Valley is a serious Walla Walla producer, and Boomtown is their everyday label done right — dark fruit, a little pepper, drinks well above its price point. Nine bucks a glass for this is a genuine win.
Pomum Cellars Tempranillo
Most people at a lakeside steakhouse in Everett are reaching for Cabernet without a second thought. That's a mistake when Pomum is on the list. This Yakima Valley Tempranillo — grown from Spanish cuttings in Washington soil — is the most interesting bottle in the building and the one worth asking your server about.
14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon
At $9 a glass, you're paying restaurant markup on a wine that retails for around $10 a bottle. It's fine, but it's grocery store Cab dressed up in a lodge setting. With Boomtown and the Anthony's Sparkman label available for the same price or less, there's no reason to default to this one.
Pomum Cellars Graciano + Pacific Northwest salmon
Graciano is a high-acid, earthy Spanish red that cuts right through the richness of salmon without overwhelming the fish — especially if it's coming off the grill with any char on it. It's an unconventional call that actually makes both the wine and the dish better.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Emory's isn't a destination wine list, but it's a well-matched one — Washington pours at fair prices on a lake deck is a formula that works. If you send a friend here, tell them to skip the 14 Hands and ask about the Pomum.

Tampico is a neighborhood Mexican spot that does its core job well — the wine list is simply not part of that job. Order the margaritas, grab a Sangria carafe if you need something to share, and save the wine conversation for somewhere else.

Outback Everett feeds a lot of people well, but the wine list is pure cruise control — familiar labels, chain markups, and zero effort to go beyond the obvious. Order the Ste. Michelle, enjoy your steak, and don't come here expecting anything more from the bottle.

Buffalo Wild Wings Everett is not a wine destination — it is a sports bar that happens to have a few bottles on a shelf somewhere. Save your wine curiosity for literally anywhere else in Everett and order the beer.
