Wingman Metrics
The wine list at C&S Oyster Bar is compact — 29 labels — but it's clearly been put together with the food in mind. Whites dominate, which makes sense when your menu is built around oysters and seafood. This is not a list trying to impress anyone; it's trying to sell you the right wine for your dinner, and it mostly succeeds.
The white wine bench is the real story here: Alsatian producers like Lucien Albrecht and Hugel show up alongside a Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, a Vinos Marinos Albariño from Spain, and an Aperture Chenin Blanc from California. There's genuine range across price points and regions without the list getting unwieldy. The Burgundy contingent — a J.J. Vincent Bourgogne Blanc, a Les Glories Chablis, and a Les Bouriscottes Sancerre — rounds out the French white presence nicely. Reds are thin, with just three Pinot Noirs on offer, which is an honest acknowledgment that most of what's coming out of this kitchen doesn't need a Cab.
Every bottle on the list is also available by the glass, which is genuinely generous and rare. Glass pours run $14–$30, with most of the interesting whites landing in the $14–$18 range — a fair window for a Sandy Springs seafood spot. There's no obvious rotation or specialty BTG program, but when the whole list is available by the pour, you don't really need one.
The Bottom Line
C&S Oyster Bar isn't trying to be a wine destination, but the list is smarter than it looks — well-matched to the seafood format, fairly priced, and fully available by the glass. If you're eating oysters in Sandy Springs and want something more interesting than a house white, this list will take care of you.
Sandy Springs · Sandy Springs · Italian
Pricci's wine list is the restaurant equivalent of a reliable business traveler — organized, presentable, and rarely offensive, but not the person you call for an adventure. The markup leans steep across the board, and the lack of a visible specials program means you're paying full retail every night. That said, the by-the-glass depth is real, and there are smart Italian picks hiding in the list if you ignore the Napa trophy bottles.

Le Bilboquet is a reliable French restaurant wine experience in a city that doesn't overflow with them — a focused, old-world-leaning list backed by actual staff knowledge. Pricing skews steep for the Buckhead zip code, so lean on the sommelier to find where the value hides. We'd send a friend here for a fun night, not a deep dive.

The Ashford runs a tidy, unpretentious wine program that punches at roughly the weight you'd expect from a neighborhood New American spot. The pricing is fair, the Sancerre and Chenin Blanc suggest some real curation happened, and the all-glass format means you're never forced into a bottle. It won't move you, but it won't embarrass you either — which in Sandy Springs counts for something.

Cibo e Beve has a functional, crowd-pleasing wine list that serves its room well — but the markup on some bottles is hard to ignore, and the depth of Italian regionality you'd hope for at an Italian restaurant just isn't there. Grab the Gavi or the Verdicchio by the glass and call it a solid night.

Local 3 is doing something genuinely unusual for a neighborhood New American in Sandy Springs: building a white wine program with range and intellectual honesty, priced fairly enough that you will not feel punished for exploring it. If you are remotely curious about wine, this list rewards you. Send your friends here and tell them to order by the glass.

Bacchanalia's wine program is doing something genuinely difficult: running a 35-option by-the-glass list with real range and intention inside a tasting menu format, priced at levels that don't feel punitive. The $20 Raventos and the $24 Carl Loewen Riesling are the kind of pours that make you trust the people who built this list. If you're eating in Atlanta and care about what's in your glass, this is the room.

Chesapeake Seafood House is a genuinely charming Springfield institution with a kitchen that earns its regulars — but the wine list is on autopilot and has been for a while. Order the Riesling, enjoy your prime rib, and save the serious wine drinking for somewhere else.

Hugo's Naperville is a reliable, well-run steakhouse wine program that will not let you down and will not excite you. Come for the prime beef and oysters, order the Jordan or the Duckhorn, and don't look too hard at the markup on the Pinot Grigio.

Kincaid's is exactly what it is — a reliable business-dinner wine list that keeps the table happy without taking any risks. If Monday's half-price bottle promotion holds at this location, it becomes a legitimately solid deal; otherwise, manage expectations and lean into the Port.
