Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Bonefish Grill Mobile reads exactly like you'd expect from a polished chain — clean, approachable, and engineered to offend nobody. It's the wine equivalent of a comfortable booth: familiar, functional, and not going to surprise you in any direction.
The list clocks in at 30-50 bottles and leans hard on recognizable, high-volume brands that move fast in casual-upscale settings. You're not finding any esoteric Jura pours or grower Champagnes here — this is Kim Crawford country. The regional depth is shallow, with no real commitment to any particular Old World or New World identity beyond what corporate buying dictates. That said, the selections do track well with a seafood menu, favoring crisp whites and approachable reds over anything that would challenge the Bang Bang Shrimp.
With 10-16 by-the-glass options, there's enough to work with at the table without committing to a bottle. Pours run in the $7-$12 range, which feels a little stretched given what's in the glass. Rotation appears to be chain-driven rather than locally curated, so don't expect anything seasonal or surprising.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc — $9
It's a crowd-pleaser for a reason — bright citrus, clean finish, and it plays well with anything coming out of the ocean. At the low end of the glass pour range, it's the most honest transaction on the menu.
Meiomi Pinot Noir
Most people ordering red wine with seafood get talked out of it — don't be. Meiomi's soft, fruit-forward style is light enough to not steamroll the salmon, and it's a better move than defaulting to a Cab that has no business near a fish plate.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc (bottle)
At bottle prices on a chain markup, you're paying a significant premium over retail for a wine you can grab at any grocery store for under $15. Order it by the glass or skip the bottle entirely.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc + Bang Bang Shrimp
The sharp acidity and citrus edge in the Crawford cuts through the creamy, spicy sauce on the shrimp without fighting it. It's not a complex pairing — it's just a correct one.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Bonefish Grill Mobile won't win any awards for wine ambition, but it handles its lane competently — solid glass options, food-friendly picks, and a vibe that makes a weeknight dinner feel like an occasion. Just don't expect the wine list to be the reason you go.
Downtown / Historic District · Mobile · Upscale Steakhouse (American)
Ruth's Chris Mobile is a reliable wine play for what it is — a high-end steakhouse chain with a professionally managed national list, fair glass program, and the Wine Wednesday deal sweetening the math. Just don't come here looking for discovery; come here looking for a good bottle with a great steak.

Causeway / Spanish Fort · Mobile · Casual seafood and oysters with Southern and Gulf Coast dishes
Come for the oysters and the water views — they're genuinely worth it. But the wine list is an afterthought, and nobody on staff is going to help you navigate it any better than you already can. Stick to the Kim Crawford and call it a day.

Causeway / Mobile Bay · Mobile · Seafood and Steak with Gulf Coast Southern Influences
Felix's Fish Camp is a genuinely good time on Mobile Bay with food worth the drive — the wine list is just along for the ride, not leading it. Show up on a Wednesday, grab half-price bottles of Riesling, eat the flounder, and watch the water. That's the move.
