Wingman Metrics
Eleven labels. You can count them on two hands with a finger to spare. The wine list at Bambinelli's is the kind you scan in about thirty seconds — mostly grocery-store staples organized into red and white, with prices that won't make you wince.
The list reads like a greatest hits of airport wine shops: Josh Cabernet, Josh Merlot, Meiomi Chardonnay, Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. There's a nod to the Italian theme with DaVinci Chianti and Riunite Lambrusco, which is at least appropriate for a neighborhood red-sauce joint. Il Masso Pinot Grigio covers the obligatory Italian white slot. If you're hoping for a Barolo, a Vermentino, or anything that requires a second look, you'll be disappointed — this list plays the same five chords on repeat.
Ten of the eleven bottles are available by the glass, which is genuinely convenient and covers just about everything on the list. Prices run $7–$13 per glass, keeping things accessible. The La Marca Prosecco is glass-only, which makes sense for a sparkling pour at an Italian spot.
The Bottom Line
Bambinelli's wine list exists to check a box, and it does exactly that — no more, no less. The pricing is fair enough, the by-the-glass selection is wide, and the Lambrusco is genuinely the right call at an Italian restaurant. But if wine is part of why you're going out to dinner, this list won't give you much to get excited about. Order the Riunite, enjoy your pasta, and save the serious bottle for somewhere else.

Midtown · Atlanta · Italian
Campagnolo isn't trying to be a wine bar, and it doesn't need to be — the white and sparkling selections are genuinely solid for a midtown Italian spot. We'd steer toward the Albariño or the Fouassier Sancerre, skip the generic Chardonnay, and keep expectations calibrated: this is a food-first room with a wine list that supports the meal rather than steals the show.

Buckhead · Atlanta · Italian
Antica Posta earns a Wild Card for doing one thing with genuine conviction: assembling a Brunello di Montalcino selection that most Atlanta restaurants wouldn't attempt. It's not a balanced list, pricing data is opaque, and if you're looking for Barolo, Champagne, or anything outside Tuscany, you'll be reaching. But if you want to drink serious Sangiovese — Poggio di Sotto, Fuligni, Marroneto — in a room that clearly cares about it, this is the place to do it.

Decatur · Decatur · Italian
Avellino's earns its stripes as a Decatur pizza institution, but the wine program is a blind spot we can't responsibly rate in detail — the data simply isn't there. Come for the Tutta Guarnita, grab a beer or a soft drink, and save the serious wine drinking for somewhere that cares about the glass as much as the crust.
