You'll recognize every label on here from a grocery store endcap, which is exactly what a casual Peoria steakhouse crowd is probably looking for. No pretense, no friction — just something to wash down a ribeye.
Fourteen by-the-glass options cover the obvious bases: California Cabs, a Washington Riesling, a Pinot Noir, and enough sweet options to keep the Moscato crowd happy. The regional lens is almost entirely California and Washington, with zero Old World representation and no surprises lurking anywhere on the list. Producers like Duckhorn and Decoy are the ceiling here — solid, recognizable, and approachable — while Beringer White Zinfandel and Gancia Moscato d'Asti anchor the sweeter end for guests who treat wine like dessert. There's no depth to dig into and no obscure finds waiting to be discovered, but the list does what it sets out to do.
All 14 wines are available by the glass, priced between $8 and $15 — a range that won't punish you for ordering a second pour. The BTG program is entirely static with no apparent rotation, so what you see is what you get every visit. For a restaurant where you're grilling your own steak, that consistency is probably a feature, not a bug.
Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon — $15
Duckhorn Napa Cab retails around $60 a bottle, so getting a glass at $15 is a reasonable deal — it's the one pour on this list that actually belongs in a steakhouse.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling
Most people at a steakhouse walk right past the Riesling, but Chateau Ste. Michelle's Columbia Valley bottling is a genuinely good wine with just enough acidity to cut through a fatty cut. At these prices, it's worth the detour.
Beringer White Zinfandel
Nothing wrong with it if that's your thing, but you're at a steakhouse — there are better ways to spend $8 on this list.
Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon + Ribeye steak
Decoy is a Duckhorn-adjacent Cab with enough dark fruit and structure to stand up to a well-marbled ribeye without demanding your full attention. Classic combo, no overthinking required.

Alexander's isn't a wine destination, but it's not trying to be — and at $12–$15 for a decent pour of Decoy or Duckhorn while you grill your own steak, there's nothing to complain about. Come for the experience, drink something familiar, and leave happy.
