Wingman Metrics
The list at Vincenzo's Terrazza opens with a Jardesca Aperitiva and a house Sangria — so right away you know this place is more interested in keeping the table happy than impressing the wine nerds. Thirty-six labels isn't tiny, but the energy here is squarely approachable Italian-American with a few decent surprises tucked in.
The Italian anchor is real: Frescobaldi shows up three times (Castiglioni Sangiovese, Nipozzano Riserva, and the Remole Super Tuscan), and there's a Camigliano Brunello di Montalcino 2016 that legitimately earns its place on any Italian restaurant list. Beyond that, the whites lean heavily on familiar crowd-pleasers — Barone Fini Pinot Grigio, a Sauvignon Blanc, two Chardonnays — and the reds pad out with Maddalena Estate Reserve bottlings that are pleasant but uninspiring. California representation is present through Pence Ranch (both a Chardonnay and a Pinot Noir) and Villa San Juliette Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds a bit of regional character. The gaps are noticeable: no Nebbiolo outside the Brunello, no Vermentino or Verdicchio for the white wine curious, and the sparkling section is essentially a single brut and a rosé bubbly.
We couldn't confirm specific by-the-glass pours or counts from available data — the list appears to be structured primarily as a bottle program. If the BTG options mirror the bottle list's most approachable entries, expect the Barone Fini Pinot Grigio and something from Maddalena to be the workhorses. Worth asking your server what's open.
The Bottom Line
Vincenzo's Terrazza doesn't push any boundaries, but the Frescobaldi trio and that Brunello give the list more backbone than you'd expect from a casual Italian in Anaheim. Come for the food, drink the Nipozzano, leave happy.
