Wingman Metrics
You open the wine list here and it's basically one answer: Two Sisters, take it or leave it. That's a bold move, but when you're sitting inside a striking contemporary winery on the Niagara bench with a sommelier on staff and a wood-fired kitchen firing osso buco, the confidence is earned. This isn't a cop-out β it's a statement.
The list runs 60 to 100 bottles deep, but every single one comes from the estate, which makes this less a traditional restaurant wine list and more a vertical showcase of what the Niagara bench can do. You're looking at Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and sparkling wine as the cornerstones β a tight but credible lineup for the region. Niagara Cab Franc in particular is having a moment, and Two Sisters does it well, with the cool-climate spine you'd expect. The gap here is obvious: if you want to branch out to Barolo with your pasta, you're in the wrong room.
With 12 to 18 pours available by the glass, there's genuinely more to explore here than the estate-only concept might suggest β different vintages, formats, and styles across the Two Sisters range give you room to move. The sparkling wine by the glass is a smart opener before you commit to a bottle, especially on a patio overlooking the vineyard. Rotation isn't aggressive, but a knowledgeable sommelier team means you can ask what's showing well right now and actually get a useful answer.
Two Sisters Vineyards Cabernet Franc β null
Niagara Cab Franc punches well above its weight class globally, and getting it poured at the source β with proper stemware and a sommelier who can tell you about the vintage β is the whole point of eating here. This is the wine the region is building its reputation on, and Two Sisters is one of the better addresses for it.
Two Sisters Vineyards Sparkling Wine
Most people sleeping on Niagara sparkling wine are making a mistake. The cool continental climate on the bench is legitimately built for bubbles, and Two Sisters' sparkling program doesn't get nearly the attention it deserves compared to their reds. Order it before your pasta arrives and see if you don't reconsider your assumptions.
Two Sisters Vineyards Merlot
Merlot isn't where Niagara shines brightest, and on a list this focused you're giving up a slot that could go to another glass of Cab Franc or Chardonnay. Nothing wrong with it, but it's the least interesting argument the list makes.
Two Sisters Vineyards Chardonnay + Handmade pasta
Cool-climate Niagara Chardonnay has the acid structure to cut through rich pasta sauces without going toe-to-toe with them β it stays in its lane. The wine's fruit weight and restrained oak make it a natural fit for the handmade pasta, which doesn't need a big red competing with it.
π² The Bottom Line
Kitchen 76 is a wine destination that happens to serve excellent Italian food, not the other way around. If you're near Niagara-on-the-Lake and you haven't made a reservation here yet, fix that.
Military Road Β· Niagara Falls Β· Steakhouse
This is a chain wine list doing chain wine list things β nothing more, nothing less. If you're in Niagara Falls and care about what's in your glass, find a local spot; if you're already committed to LongHorn, order the Riesling and put your energy into the steak.

Koi is a perfectly competent casino wine list β safe producers, limited range, and markups that reflect the captive audience. If you're here for the food and the vibe, order the Riesling and don't overthink it.

Downtown / Seneca Casino Β· Niagara Falls Β· Steakhouse, Upscale American
The Western Door is exactly what a well-run casino steakhouse wine program should be β dependable, properly stored, and wide enough to keep everyone at the table happy. It's not a destination for wine lovers, but it's a solid Reliable that won't embarrass you on a business dinner or a night out before the falls.

La Cascata is the rare casino restaurant where the wine list doesn't feel like an afterthought β there's real Italian depth here if you look past the headline names. Just know you're paying casino prices for the privilege, and no one's coming to check on your glass knowledge.

Bella Vista isn't trying to be a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be β but the pricing is fair, the glass selection is generous, and there are a few legitimate bottles worth ordering if you know where to look. Send a friend here for dinner without guilt; just steer them away from the Moscato.

Zaika isn't a wine destination, but the Niagara half of this list is a legitimate reason to skip the mango lassi and explore what's growing 20 minutes away. For Falls-area dining, that's more than we expected.

Osteria Georgi is doing something right with a focused, all-Italian list that actually respects regional diversity. The markups are a real buzzkill on bottles, but the by-the-glass program is wide enough that you can eat well, drink well, and leave happy β just order smart.

Michael's is a casual neighborhood Italian spot that quietly stocked its wine list with producers it had absolutely no obligation to care about β and the prices are fair enough that you won't feel punished for noticing. If you're passing through Niagara Falls and assumed your wine options were Yellowtail or nothing, this place owes you an apology.

Pietro's is doing more with wine than most Lodi Italian spots bother to, and the Italian bottle selection genuinely earns some respect. Price transparency would help, and the California side could use an edit β but if you're here and you want a serious Italian red with your pasta, you've got real options.
