The wine list at Two Friends is exactly what you'd expect from a karaoke patio bar on Front Street — functional, unpretentious, and roughly as curated as a gas station cooler. Sixteen labels, house pours front and center, no pretense of depth. If you showed up here for the wine, you took a wrong turn.
There are 16 labels on this list, and the headliners are House Cabernet, House Merlot, House Chardonnay, and House White Zinfandel — a murderers' row of unmemorable bulk wine. There's no regional focus, no interesting producers, no attempt to match the coastal Florida setting with anything beyond the bare minimum. The list reads like someone checked the 'yes, we have wine' box and called it a day. To be fair, no one is coming to Two Friends for a Burgundy deep-dive, but even a single recognizable label would go a long way.
Fifteen of the sixteen labels are available by the glass, which sounds impressive until you realize the entire list is basically built to be ordered that way. During happy hour (4–6 p.m. daily), house pours drop to $3.50–$3.95, which is genuinely hard to argue with — that's beach-bar pricing that matches the vibe perfectly. Outside of happy hour, don't expect anything worth lingering over.
House Chardonnay — $3.50
At happy hour pricing, this is cold, cheap, and cold — exactly what you want sitting outside in Key West humidity. It's not trying to be Burgundy and that's fine. Best $3.50 you'll spend on the patio.
House White Zinfandel
Look, we're not endorsing it as a serious wine choice, but on a hot Key West afternoon with a seafood platter in front of you, a $3.95 glass of cold, slightly sweet rosé-adjacent White Zin is weirdly in its element. Sometimes the right wine is the one that fits the moment.
House Merlot
Ordering a house Merlot at a tropical patio bar in 85-degree heat is a choice, and not a good one. Even at happy hour prices, warm, thin red wine in a tourist district is a waste of a glass. Order a cocktail instead — they're better at it.
House Chardonnay + Seafood Platter
The house Chardonnay is neutral enough that it won't fight the fried seafood, and cold enough that it cuts through the grease. It's not a pairing so much as a survival strategy, but in this context that's a compliment.
Daily — Happy hour runs 4–6 p.m. daily with house wine specials at $3.50–$3.95 per glass, alongside half-price appetizers. No dedicated bottle discount program was found.

Two Friends is a great place to catch live music, drink something cold, and not think too hard — and the wine list knows exactly what it is. Don't send a friend here for wine, but if they're already here for the karaoke, the $3.50 happy hour pours are the move.

Bagatelle is doing more with wine than most restaurants in the Keys bother to attempt, and for a tourist-heavy Duval Street address, that matters. The markups are real and the list skews safe-prestige, but if you're in Key West and want a proper bottle with your lobster, this is where you go.

Thirsty Mermaid is a Wild Card in the best sense — a no-frills raw bar that somehow sourced a wine list worthy of a much fancier room. The markups on the high-end bottles are steep and there's no wine program energy to speak of, but the Cava-and-oysters combination alone is worth the stop.

The Roost is a hotel bar doing more than the minimum — there's real range here and a few genuinely good picks if you know where to look. Just go in expecting to pay for the waterfront zip code, and you'll have a fine time.

Moondog isn't a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — but it offers a surprisingly considered little list at prices that don't insult your intelligence, which puts it well ahead of the tourist-trap cafes clustered around it. If you're in Old Town and want a glass with your morning or a light lunch, there are worse decisions you'll make in Key West.
