Wingman Metrics
Eight wines by the glass, and that's the whole program — at least as far as we can tell from what's on offer here. This is a wine list that exists to fill a checkbox, not to excite anyone who's paying attention.
The list reads like a Greatest Hits of safe American retail: J. Lohr Riverstone Chardonnay, Liberty School Cab, Alexander Valley Vineyards Merlot — all solid grocery-store staples that nobody's going to complain about, but nobody's going to talk about either. There's a token nod to Europe with the Attems Pinot Grigio out of Friuli and a Baron de Ley Rosé from Rioja, which is at least a step above the usual Provençal suspects. Calera Pinot Noir is arguably the most interesting name on the sheet, a California cult-adjacent producer that deserves better than being the lone adventurous pick on an otherwise flat list. Gaps are wide: no Burgundy, no Champagne, no aged anything, no exploration of what actually grows well near what's on the plate.
Eight options, all priced at either $12.50 or $14 per glass — a tight spread that makes the list feel less curated and more pre-packaged. The Poema Sparkling at $12.50 is the opener, Calera Pinot Noir tops out the pricing at $14, and everything else lands in between. Rotation appears nonexistent; this is a set-it-and-forget-it situation.
The Bottom Line
Truluck's in The Woodlands is clearly here to sell seafood and steaks, and the wine list confirms that wine is an afterthought. Eight by-the-glass options, all recognizable labels, no bottle program to speak of in the data we have — if you're a wine drinker, go in with low expectations and order the Calera. Or order a cocktail and don't look back.

· Miami · Seafood Steakhouse
Truluck's Miami isn't a wine destination — it's a seafood restaurant that happens to have eight wines on a menu. If you're here for stone crab or a special occasion dinner, you'll find something adequate to drink, but you won't find anything to get excited about. Order a cocktail or bring your own expectations down a notch.

· Houston · Seafood Steakhouse
Truluck's Houston wines by the glass read like an afterthought appended to what is probably a serious seafood and steak menu. Eight safe, mid-tier California and Spanish pours at steep per-glass pricing is not a wine program — it's a placeholder. If wine matters to your evening, manage expectations or ask what's available on a full bottle list that wasn't captured here.

· Southlake · Seafood Steakhouse
Truluck's Southlake runs a by-the-glass program that most restaurants serving food at this price point can't come close to matching. The European white selections and sparkling depth show a buyer who's actually paying attention. If you're here, skip the Cakebread, order the Selbach, and enjoy the fact that you have real options.
