Wingman Metrics
Walking into Todd's feels like a neighborhood secret — intimate, warm, and clearly built by someone who actually likes wine rather than just sells it. The list leans hard into California's greatest hits, and if you've spent any time in wine bars, you'll recognize almost every label immediately. That's either reassuring or a little predictable, depending on your mood.
The 60–80 label list is a California love letter: Frank Family, Rombauer, Justin, Belle Glos, Prisoner — it's the Mount Rushmore of approachable-premium American wine. There's some Old World support in the wings, but this isn't the place to hunt for Burgundy grower Champagne or obscure Jura Savagnin. The curation is clearly intentional, aimed squarely at guests who want something they recognize and trust, and on those terms it works. Gaps show up if you're looking for anything adventurous — no natural wine, no orange, very little outside the Pacific Coast comfort zone.
With roughly 18–22 pours spanning sparkling, white, rosé, and red, the by-the-glass program is one of the stronger arguments for coming here. You can build a solid tasting flight without committing to a bottle, which is exactly what a wine bar should let you do. Rotation appears limited — this reads more like a stable menu than one that changes with the seasons.
Justin Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles — $60
At 100% markup over a $30 retail, it's not a steal, but Justin is genuinely one of the most consistent over-delivers in California Cab — structured, fruit-forward, and built for a night out. Among the options here, it gives you the most wine for the dollar.
Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV
Most people default to red or white and skip the Champagne entirely at a spot like this. Don't. At $110 it's an 83% markup over a $60 retail — the most reasonable margin on the list — and Veuve Yellow Label is a crowd-proof, food-friendly pour that holds its own against every small plate on the menu.
Decoy by Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon
A 150% markup on a $22 retail wine is hard to justify when there are better Cabs on this very list for not much more. Decoy is a solid grocery store Cab — it doesn't become a restaurant Cab worth $55 just because it's in a nice glass.
Belle Glos Pinot Noir + Braised Short Rib
Belle Glos is a big, fruit-driven Pinot with enough structure to hold up to the richness of braised short rib without steamrolling it. The wine's dark cherry and subtle earthiness play off the meat's deep savory notes in a way lighter reds can't manage.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Todd's is the kind of neighborhood wine bar Henderson needed — comfortable, well-run, and staffed by people who know what's in the bottle. The markups are real and the list won't surprise anyone, but if you want a reliably good glass of California wine and a solid small plate to go with it, this place delivers.
Galleria · Henderson · American Sports Bar & Grill
Twin Peaks Henderson is a sports bar — a good one, by all accounts — and you should treat it like one. Drink the beer, it's served ice cold and that's the whole idea. The wine list is an afterthought, and ordering from it feels like asking a bounce house rental company for fine dining recommendations.

Borracha is a tequila bar that also sells wine, and the list reflects that priority clearly. If your crew is on margaritas and you want a glass of something approachable, you'll find it — just don't show up expecting a wine destination.

BJ's wine program is a placeholder, not a destination — but the Tuesday/Wednesday half-price bottle deal makes it a functional option if you're already here for the Pizookie and the company. Don't come for the wine; stay for the beer.

Benihana's wine list won't win any awards, and the markups are par for the chain-restaurant course — but there are a few smart picks buried in here if you know where to look. Come for the show, drink strategically.

King's Fish House Henderson isn't a wine destination and doesn't pretend to be — but the list is fairly priced, the glass pour options are plentiful, and there are smart choices in there if you know where to look. Send a friend here for the oysters and tell them to skip the Santa Margherita.

Bonefish Grill Henderson isn't a wine destination — it's a reliable neighborhood option that does just enough right to avoid embarrassing itself. Send a friend here if they want a decent glass with good seafood and zero drama; just don't expect the list to excite anyone who actually cares about wine.

Vin Atl is doing something most Atlanta wine bars aren't: curating a short list with genuine intention instead of padding it with safe bets. At these prices, it's worth a stop even if you only come for one bottle.

Legacy West · Plano · Wine Bar
CRÚ Plano punches well above its Legacy West strip-mall setting — 300 bottles and a genuinely active specials calendar make this worth a dedicated visit, not just a last-resort pour before the movie. Just don't come looking for Burgundy and you'll leave happy.

The Cask is a genuinely pleasant place to spend an evening — the vibe is right, the crowd is friendly, and the bar snacks do their job. But the wine list is overpriced brand recognition, not a curated program, and no amount of Tuesday specials changes the math on a $40 Josh Cellars.
