Wingman Metrics
Fifty-one labels across a mixed-use entertainment district doesn't sound like a wine destination — and to be fair, it isn't. But the list is more considered than you'd expect from a place that also hosts corporate events and Cowboys fans. There's real structure here: sparkling, whites, reds, and a by-the-glass program that actually has options.
The white wine section is where this list earns its keep. You get a genuine Chablis in Billaud Simon ($75/bottle), the Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner Terrassen ($50/bottle) for anyone who wants something outside the California orbit, and a Mönchhoff Riesling for the curious. On the other hand, the Chardonnay section leans heavily into the Napa luxury lane — Cakebread, Far Niente, Flowers, and Rombauer all show up, which reads more like a greatest-hits greatest-expense list than a curated selection. The red wine region focus on Cabernet and Cab blends fits the steakhouse side of the operation, but the list doesn't venture far from safe, recognizable names. The sparkling section is small but functional, anchored by the Collet Brut Champagne and the Pol Roger Brut at $110/bottle — solid choices even if the low end is Valdo Prosecco territory.
Twenty-four by-the-glass options is genuinely generous for a venue like this, spanning $11 to $29 per glass. The Collet Brut Champagne at $29/glass gives you a legitimate Champagne option without committing to a full bottle — that's worth noting. The glass list doesn't rotate much based on what we can see, but the range from Prosecco to Jordan Chardonnay means most tables will find something workable.
The Bottom Line
The Star District Collective's wine program is better than its setting suggests — a real Chablis, an Austrian Grüner, and a 24-glass BTG list put it ahead of most suburban entertainment venues. The pricing is fair across most of the list, though the Napa heavy-hitters carry markups that reward the familiar over the curious. If you're here for dinner and you poke around instead of defaulting to the obvious, you'll drink decently.

Dee's Table is a burger spot moonlighting as a casual wine destination one night a week, and there's something genuinely likable about that ambition. Don't come here expecting a deep list — come on a Wednesday, order the Wagyu, and see if the wine keeps up.

Legacy West · Frisco · Wine bar & bistro
CRÚ Legacy West is a champagne bar wearing a wine bar costume, and once you accept that, it actually delivers. Go for the bubbles, skip the $260 vanity bottle, and don't expect a world tour of wine regions — but if you want a solid Champagne night in Frisco, this is where you do it.

Uncork'd Frisco isn't trying to change your life, and it doesn't need to — it's a well-stocked, fairly priced wine bar that does right by its 36-glass program and gives you enough to work with for a solid night out. Send your friends here when they want wine variety without a lesson.

Fields West · Frisco · Wine Restaurant / New American
Sixty Vines earns its stripes as a reliable wine destination in Frisco — the producer list is genuinely thoughtful, the California depth is real, and the overall effort is evident. It won't blow a seasoned collector's mind, but it'll absolutely deliver a great bottle on a weeknight without the guesswork.

Heirloom Haul is a cafe that happens to have wine, not a wine program worth making plans around. Grab a glass of the house bubbles, enjoy your lunch, and don't overthink it.

Eight 11 Place is the kind of spot Frisco needed — unpretentious, lively, and genuinely trying to do wine right in a market that usually doesn't bother. It's not a destination list, but it's absolutely worth stopping in on a weekday happy hour when the prices get friendly and the patio is calling.
