Wingman Metrics
The restored-mill setting does a lot of heavy lifting — exposed beams, warm lighting, the whole deal — and the wine list leans into the same crowd-pleasing energy. Thirteen labels isn't a deep bench, but it's enough to get through dinner without complaint. Just don't show up expecting to be surprised.
California dominates the list, which is about as predictable as it gets: Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay, De Loach Pinot Noir, and The Atom Cab cover the greatest hits from Sonoma and Napa. There's a nod to Italy with the Tonnino Romato Pinot Grigio out of Sicily and the Moletto Prosecco from Veneto, plus an Old Vine Malbec from Mendoza for the Argentina fans. The Vendange house pours — Cabernet, Merlot, White Zinfandel, Chardonnay — are value-tier supermarket staples that belong on a catering table, not an upscale-casual wine list. New Zealand checks in with the Kuranui Sauvignon Blanc, which at least gives the list a little personality.
Glass pours run $9–$14 across roughly 8–12 options, which is a decent spread for a restaurant of this size. The range covers the basics — white, red, bubbly, and the requisite sweet option with the Elmo Pio Moscato. There's no rotation or seasonal program to speak of, so what you see today is what you'll see on your next visit.
Angels & Cowboys Proprietary Red, Sonoma County — $12/glass
Angels & Cowboys consistently punches above its price point — this Sonoma red blend brings real fruit depth and structure. At $12 a glass, it's the most interesting pour on the list and the one most likely to make you feel like you made a good call.
Tonnino Romato Pinot Grigio, Sicily
Most people see 'Pinot Grigio' and assume the boring northern Italian version. Tonnino's Sicilian take is a different animal — fuller, rounder, with more character than the Canyon Road house pour sitting right next to it on the list. Worth seeking out, especially with the seafood.
Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay, Sonoma County
At $14 a glass and $50 a bottle, you're paying restaurant markup on a wine that retails for around $13–$15. KJ is a fine grocery store Chardonnay, but there's no reason to pay upscale-restaurant prices for it when better values exist on this same list.
Kuranui Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough + Seared Scallops
Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is tailor-made for seafood — the bright acidity and citrus-herb character cut right through the richness of seared scallops. It's one of the more obvious pairings in the world of wine, and The Mill gives you the perfect excuse to lean into it.
The Bottom Line
The Mill is a genuinely lovely place to eat, and the wine list won't ruin your night — but it's playing it safe in a way that doesn't match the ambition of the kitchen or the room. Stick to the Angels & Cowboys or the Kuranui, enjoy the converted-mill atmosphere, and let the food do the talking.

Mangia Qui is a genuinely appealing spot — the food, the room, and the service cadence all point toward a place that takes the dining experience seriously. The Italian wine focus is the right instinct for this kitchen, and duck confit with a solid Tuscan red is exactly what this kind of room should be delivering. We just don't have enough confirmed wine list detail yet to tell you whether to come for the bottle or stick to the food. Worth a visit — ask your server what's good on the wine list and see what happens.

Zia's isn't a wine destination, but it's a reliable, fairly priced list that respects the room it's in and won't leave you feeling ripped off. If you're here for a nice Italian dinner and a couple of honest glasses of wine, it delivers.

Federal Taphouse is a beer bar that happens to serve wine, and the list reflects exactly that priority order. If you're with a group split between pint-drinkers and wine-drinkers, it works — just don't expect anyone to geek out over the bottle selection with you.

Home 231 is a solid neighborhood dinner spot where the wine list does its job without any drama — which is fine, as long as you're not expecting it to be the reason you showed up. Come for the food, order something simple off the list, and enjoy the room.

Devon isn't breaking new ground, but for a chain steakhouse in Hershey, this wine list punches above its weight — especially if you gravitate toward Rieslings or Pinot Noir. We'd send a friend here knowing they won't get gouged and won't have to settle.
