Fourteen bottles, fourteen by-the-glass options — every bottle on the list is available by the glass, which is either a stroke of genius or the most refreshingly unpretentious wine program in the Keys. Nothing here is going to make you call your wine group chat, but nothing is going to embarrass you either. It's a tight, intentional list built for a beach town steakhouse, and it mostly delivers.
The list covers the bases without overstaying its welcome: a Macedon Pinot Noir and a Mon Coeur Côtes du Rhône anchor the reds with some actual personality, while the Alexander Valley Zinfandel and Mendel Malbec are crowd-pleasing and approachable. On the white side, the De Lille Cellars Chaleur Blanc is the clearest sign that someone with taste put this list together — it's a serious Bordeaux-style white from Washington State that has no business being this affordable here. The list leans New World across the board, and there's a real gap in anything Italian beyond a Pinot Grigio, or any aged or structured bottles for the serious wine drinker, but at these prices, the range earns respect.
The full bottle-to-glass conversion means all 14 options are available by the pour, priced between $8 and $14 — which is genuinely refreshing in a tourist-heavy market where by-the-glass lists often shrink to five tired options. The Liquid Geography Rosé at $8/glass is the easy opener, and the Mon Coeur Côtes du Rhône at $14/glass is the ceiling, which is reasonable for Key West.
The Bottom Line
The Flaming Buoy keeps it simple and keeps it fair — 14 wines, all available by the glass, all priced honestly for a vacation-market restaurant. It won't satisfy anyone chasing depth or discovery, but if you want a solid pour without drama or sticker shock, this list does the job. The De Lille Chaleur Blanc alone is reason enough to skip the cocktail menu.

La Trattoria isn't trying to reinvent anything, but it's putting in more wine effort than most of its neighbors on Duval Street. Fair prices on Italian bottles, a usable by-the-glass program, and real depth in the Italian reds make it a reliable choice — just don't order the La Marca Prosecco.

The Resort at Southernmost Beach is selling the view, and the wine list knows it — there's no reason to put in effort when the sunset does all the heavy lifting. If you're ordering wine here, stick to the Ste. Michelle Riesling or just pop the Prosecco and enjoy where you are. Don't come here for the wine program; come here despite it.

Key West Winery is a Wild Card because the concept itself is the draw — tropical fruit wines in the Florida Keys is exactly as niche and fun as it sounds, and it earns its badge on novelty alone. We wouldn't send a serious wine drinker here as a primary destination, but if you're already in Old Town and curious about what local winemaking looks like when grapes aren't the star, it's worth a tasting flight. Go in with the right expectations and you'll leave entertained; go in looking for a Côte de Nuits and you'll leave confused.
