The Wine List

The Dogwood is an atmospheric outdoor restaurant with 150 seats under 100-year-old trees, a hand-painted mural, and a Beer Garage with 70-plus choices. They carry a "specially selected wine list" and full bar with craft cocktails. The wine selection is short and functional: it exists for the person at the table who doesn't want one of the 70 beers. The 14-item comfort food menu (Smash Burger, Sticky Ribs) is designed for sharing and casual drinking.

Why Lazy List

A restaurant with a 70-beer garage and craft cocktail program clearly knows how to curate a beverage experience. The wine list didn't get the same treatment. "Specially selected" means short and safe. The setting is fantastic, the beer is the star, and the wine is along for the ride.

The Bottom Line

The Dogwood is Blue Ridge's best outdoor social scene with 70+ beers and live music under the trees. The wine list is an afterthought. Grab a beer.
