Wingman Metrics
You walk into Table Mesa expecting margaritas and leave genuinely surprised by the wine list. It's not trying to be a wine bar, but whoever put this list together was paying attention β there's actual geographic range here, and the prices don't feel punitive. For a lively bistro on Bentonville's downtown square, this is more than we expected.
The list pulls from Oregon, California, France, Italy, New Zealand, and Argentina β not a bad passport for 30-50 selections. Oregon gets a real showing with both Elk Cove and Pike Road representing Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, which signals someone has taste. Germany sneaks in with a Romerhoff Riesling Kabinett, which is either a happy accident or a genuine curation moment β either way, we're glad it's there. The weak spot is depth: once you get past the crowd-pleasers like Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio and Mer Soleil Chardonnay, the list thins out fast.
Glass pour counts aren't confirmed from the data we have, but the bottle list suggests a reasonable by-the-glass program in the $10β$18 range. We'd love to see the Elk Cove or Pike Road Pinot available by the pour β if they're not, that's a missed opportunity. The Pol Rene bubbles from France as a BTG option would be a smart, accessible opener for this room.
Pike Road Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley β $35β$45 est.
Willamette Valley Pinot at the lower end of the price range is a straight-up win. Pike Road is a solid, approachable expression of Oregon Pinot β red fruit, soft tannins, not trying too hard β and at this price point, it likely represents the best dollar-for-quality play on the list.
Romerhoff Riesling Kabinett, Germany
Nobody in a Latin fusion bistro is ordering Riesling, and that's exactly why you should. Kabinett is off-dry, low alcohol, and cuts right through spice and acidity β it's quietly one of the most food-friendly wines on the menu and most tables will walk right past it.
Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio
It's fine. It's always fine. But Santa Margherita is one of the most marked-up brands in the restaurant world relative to what's in the glass β you're paying for the label recognition, not the wine. Spend the same money on the Loveblock Sauvignon Blanc and you'll drink better.
Loveblock Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand + Street Tacos
New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is basically built for this. The bright citrus and herbal snap in the Loveblock locks onto the lime, cilantro, and fresh salsa in the street tacos and the whole thing tastes like it was planned. It wasn't, but that's the magic.
π² The Bottom Line
Table Mesa isn't a wine destination, but it's punching well above its weight for a casual Latin bistro in downtown Bentonville. If you're here for dinner, skip the predictable picks and dig into the Oregon Pinots or that lonely Riesling β you'll be glad you did.
Rainbow Curve / I-49 Corridor Β· Bentonville Β· Italian
The Bertani Amarone and Col d'Orcia Brunello sitting on this list are like finding a Rolex in a vending machine β impressive that they exist, but the surrounding context makes the whole thing feel absurd. Come for the pasta, drink the Chianti Classico, and lower your expectations accordingly.

Northwest Bentonville Β· Bentonville Β· Steakhouse / BBQ
Fred's Hickory Inn is worth the trip for the smoke and the history β the wine list is not the reason you come. Order the barbecue, drink whatever's cold, and save the serious bottle for somewhere else.

Crystal Bridges Museum Area Β· Bentonville Β· Modern American Comfort / High South
Eleven is a museum restaurant that knows its audience and plays to it β the wine list is competent, slightly overpriced, and will keep almost everyone happy without exciting anyone. Come for the view and the tasting menu events; just don't expect the wine program to match the art on the walls.

8th Street Market / Arts District Β· Bentonville Β· CafΓ© / Multi-concept
This is not a wine destination β it's a coffee bar attached to an art space that happens to have a short, thoughtful wine list. If you're doing the Momentary and want a glass while you wander the galleries, you'll drink better here than the setting suggests.

Tavola Trattoria isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it has enough going on β solid Italian depth, fair pricing, reasonable glass options β to earn your business on a date night in Bentonville. Stick to the classics and let the balcony do the rest.

Table at the Station is a Wild Card because no one expects a Sancerre and a Zuccardi Malbec at a Bentonville burger cafΓ© β and yet here we are. It's not a wine destination, but it's a wine list that clearly has a pulse, and that's worth celebrating.
