Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Bonefish Grill Rogers feels exactly like what it is — a corporate-approved selection built for maximum familiarity and minimum friction. You'll recognize almost every name on it, which is either comforting or mildly depressing depending on your relationship with Meiomi. It's polished, inoffensive, and gets the job done.
The 40-70 bottle list leans hard on California with a New Zealand cameo and some Italian bottles rounding out the edges. You're not finding any obscure Roussillon producers or grower Champagnes here — the hits parade includes Rombauer, Kim Crawford, Joel Gott, and Meiomi, which tells you everything you need to know about the target audience. Oregon gets a nod, probably a Willamette Pinot Noir or two, but don't expect depth. This is a list built for people who know what they like and don't want to be surprised.
The by-the-glass program runs 10-20 options, which is actually generous for a chain at this price point. Expect the usual suspects — Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, Meiomi Pinot Noir — rotating through with little drama. There's no evidence of a curated BTG rotation or any particular effort to highlight newer pours, but the selection covers the bases.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc — $10
It's a crowd-pleaser for a reason — bright, citrusy, and crisp enough to cut through the richness of Bang Bang Shrimp. At glass pricing, it's the most honest transaction on the list.
Joel Gott Cabernet Sauvignon
Most people at a seafood chain skip the Cab, which is exactly why you should consider it. Joel Gott over-delivers at its price tier and if you're going the surf-and-turf route, this is a legitimate option that doesn't embarrass itself.
Rombauer Chardonnay
Rombauer is a fine wine, but restaurant markup on a bottle that retails around $35 typically pushes it past the point of value. You're paying for the brand recognition more than the juice, and at a chain restaurant that markup rarely softens.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc + Ahi Tuna Sashimi
The Sauvignon Blanc's acidity and herbaceous edge sharpen the clean, lean flavor of the sashimi without stepping on it. It's the rare case where the obvious choice is also the correct one.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Bonefish Grill Rogers is not a wine destination, but it's not a disaster either — the list is safe, the glass pours are plentiful, and you won't feel cheated if you stick to the by-the-glass options. Send a friend here for the Bang Bang Shrimp; tell them to manage their wine expectations accordingly.
Rainbow Curve / I-49 Corridor · Bentonville · Italian
The Bertani Amarone and Col d'Orcia Brunello sitting on this list are like finding a Rolex in a vending machine — impressive that they exist, but the surrounding context makes the whole thing feel absurd. Come for the pasta, drink the Chianti Classico, and lower your expectations accordingly.

Northwest Bentonville · Bentonville · Steakhouse / BBQ
Fred's Hickory Inn is worth the trip for the smoke and the history — the wine list is not the reason you come. Order the barbecue, drink whatever's cold, and save the serious bottle for somewhere else.

Crystal Bridges Museum Area · Bentonville · Modern American Comfort / High South
Eleven is a museum restaurant that knows its audience and plays to it — the wine list is competent, slightly overpriced, and will keep almost everyone happy without exciting anyone. Come for the view and the tasting menu events; just don't expect the wine program to match the art on the walls.

8th Street Market / Arts District · Bentonville · Café / Multi-concept
This is not a wine destination — it's a coffee bar attached to an art space that happens to have a short, thoughtful wine list. If you're doing the Momentary and want a glass while you wander the galleries, you'll drink better here than the setting suggests.

Downtown Square · Bentonville · Italian
Tavola Trattoria isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it has enough going on — solid Italian depth, fair pricing, reasonable glass options — to earn your business on a date night in Bentonville. Stick to the classics and let the balcony do the rest.

Bentonville / 8th Street Market Area · Bentonville · American Café
Table at the Station is a Wild Card because no one expects a Sancerre and a Zuccardi Malbec at a Bentonville burger café — and yet here we are. It's not a wine destination, but it's a wine list that clearly has a pulse, and that's worth celebrating.

Jay's is a Dayton institution, and the wine list knows it — leaning on crowd-pleasing brands with markups that assume you're not shopping around. Come for the fresh fish, order the Beaujolais, and don't overthink the rest of the list.
