The list leans hard on recognizable American labels — Rombauer, Cakebread's Bezel, Sonoma-Cutrer — and a handful of safe imports like Cloudy Bay and Whispering Angel that show up on every hotel wine list in the country. There's no real Old World depth to speak of, no grower Champagne, no Italian reds worth hunting, and Bordeaux or Burgundy are conspicuous by their absence or blandness. For a steakhouse with 142 labels, you'd expect at least a few interesting Cabernet options beyond Decoy and Bonanza — those are the sub-labels, the backup dancers, not the headliners. It reads like a corporate beverage director checked every trend box and called it a night.
One — yes, one — by-the-glass option at $9 is listed in the data, which is either a pricing page glitch or the most aggressively curated pour program in Boston. Either way, it's not a selling point. If the glass program is genuinely this thin, you're essentially forced into bottles, which is exactly where they want you.

STK Boston has the square footage, the lighting, and the noise level of a place that should have a serious wine program — instead it has 142 labels of stuff you've already tried. Order a cocktail, or pick the most interesting bottle you can find and move on.
