You're in Yountville — ground zero for world-class wine country — and the list here is four bottles. Four. We respect the honesty of a café that knows it's a café, but when you're surrounded by some of the most celebrated vineyards on earth, putting Decoy on the menu and calling it a day feels like a missed opportunity of almost comedic proportions.
The list clocks in at three sparkling options and one still white, all California, all pretty safe. The Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs is the only bottle here with genuine regional credibility — it's a proper Napa sparkling wine from a house that's been making méthode traditionnelle since the 1960s. The two Prima Pavé bottles are pleasant enough prosecco-style sparklers that you can find at most grocery stores. The Decoy Sauvignon Blanc rounds things out as the token still wine, and while it's a fine brand, it's the wine equivalent of a white t-shirt.
One by-the-glass option, and it's a mimosa. That's not really a wine program — that's a brunch table with aspirations. If you want to drink actual wine by the glass here, the answer is essentially no.
Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs NV — $48
At $48 it's the only bottle on this list earning its Yountville address. Schramsberg is the real deal — a historic California sparkling producer whose wines have been poured at White House state dinners. It's not a steal, but it's fair for what you're getting and miles above everything else here.
Prima Pavé Rosé Brut NV
Nobody comes here for the wine, so expectations are low — which actually works in this bottle's favor. It's a light, easy sparkling rosé at $29.99 that makes for a perfectly cheerful brunch sipper. Order it without overthinking it.
Decoy Sauvignon Blanc NV
Thirty dollars for Decoy in wine country is a hard sell. This is a $12-15 retail bottle from Duckhorn's entry-level line, and you can find it at every Safeway in the county. There's nothing wrong with the wine — there's just no reason to order it here at this price when the Schramsberg is on the same list.
Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs NV + Breakfast Burrito
Bubbles and eggs are a legitimate combination, and Schramsberg's bright acidity and fine bead cut through the richness of a loaded breakfast burrito better than any still wine on this list could. It's a little ridiculous and completely works.
❌ The Bottom Line
This is a coffee shop with a handful of bottles on the counter — stop expecting it to be more than that. Come for the espresso, order the Schramsberg if you're feeling festive, and save your serious wine exploration for literally any other address in Yountville.

Jessup Cellars is a genuinely good time if you go in knowing what it is: a focused, house-wine tasting experience in one of the most expensive zip codes in American wine country. It's not a deep list, it's not a bargain, but it's warm, well-executed, and a smarter afternoon than most of what's on Highway 29.

The JCB Tasting Salon is a one-house show — and if you're good with that, it's a well-run, beautifully staged one. The steep pricing and narrow scope keep it from Rager territory, but the cross-continental angle and proper sommelier guidance make it a legitimate Wild Card worth booking once.
