Opening the Seasons 52 wine list feels like getting a well-organized briefing — 100+ bottles, recognizable names, and a seasonal rotation that signals someone here is paying attention. It's polished, approachable, and built for the crowd that wants to drink well without doing homework. No surprises, but no embarrassments either.
California dominates, as you'd expect, with Oregon, France, Italy, and New Zealand filling in the gaps. The depth leans toward crowd-pleasing producers — Duckhorn, Jordan, Stags' Leap — rather than anything that'll make a wine nerd's pulse quicken. That said, the list hits its marks: there are reds, whites, and sparkling options that hold up against the menu, and the seasonal rotation keeps things from going totally stale. You're not going to discover a new favorite producer here, but you will find something that works.
Fifteen to twenty pours by the glass is generous for a chain concept, and the $10–$18 range is workable for the format. The roster leans toward safe, recognizable bottles — La Marca Prosecco, Emmolo Merlot — which keeps the bar crowd happy if not inspired. Rotation exists, which earns credit; this isn't a laminated sheet that hasn't changed since 2019.
Emmolo Merlot — $14
Emmolo is a Duckhorn project that routinely punches above its price tier, and at glass price in a restaurant setting, it's one of the more honest pours on the list. Rich, structured, and drinks better than the ticket price suggests.
Stags' Leap Winery Petite Sirah
Most tables here will reach for a Cab or Merlot without a second thought, which means the Stags' Leap Petite Sirah gets overlooked. It's inky, dense, and genuinely interesting — exactly the kind of bottle that rewards the person who bothers to read one line further down the list.
Jordan Chardonnay
Jordan is a solid producer, no argument there, but it's also one of the most widely distributed labels in American restaurants, which means the markup here is doing a lot of heavy lifting. You can find this bottle at retail for considerably less, and at Seasons 52's bottle pricing it just doesn't earn its keep.
Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc + Grilled Salmon
Duckhorn's Sauvignon Blanc brings enough citrus and herbal brightness to cut through the richness of oak-grilled salmon without steamrolling it. It's a clean, high-percentage call that works every time — and it won't require explaining to the table.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Seasons 52 is a chain that takes its wine list more seriously than it has any obligation to, and the result is a reliable, if pricey, experience that outperforms most of its competition in the upscale casual lane. Send a friend here with confidence — just steer them away from the obvious bottles and toward the Petite Sirah.

Shogun is a fun night out for the hibachi experience — but the wine list is purely functional and not worth overthinking. Order a sake, enjoy the fire show, and save your serious wine questions for somewhere else.

Carrabba's McKinney is exactly what it is — a reliable chain with a wine list that gets out of the way and lets you have a decent dinner. The port selection alone edges it above lazy, and for a casual suburban Italian night, you could do worse.

The wine list at Olive Garden McKinney is a corporate afterthought that charges mid-range restaurant prices for grocery store-tier pours. Come for the Fettuccine Alfredo and the endless breadsticks — but if wine is important to your night, this is not your place.
