Thirteen bottles, thirteen glass pours — the whole list fits on a single page and somehow that feels right for a place called Ospi. This isn't a cellar built to impress; it's a list built to drink, and the pricing stays honest enough that you won't feel robbed before the bread arrives.
The list leans Italian, as it should, with solid representation across the boot: a Sorelle Bronca Prosecco to start, a Fasoli Gino Pinot Grigio and Piero Mancini Vermentino in the whites, a Querceto di Castellina Chianti Classico and Ettore Germano Nebbiolo anchoring the reds. California sneaks in with Dragonette Cellars, Lumen, and Presqu'ile — a nod to the Venice zip code without abandoning the Italian-American concept. The Montepeloso A Quo Super Tuscan and a Château Saint-Paul Haut-Médoc round things out for drinkers who want something with more grip. Gaps exist — no serious Barolo, no Campanian whites, no natural wine energy — but for what it is, the curation is clean.
Every bottle on the list is available by the glass, which is genuinely useful for a table that can't agree on a direction. Pours run $16–$22, which tracks reasonably against the bottle prices without the usual by-the-glass penalty being too painful. No obvious rotation or seasonal swap program in sight, but when the full list is this accessible by the glass, that's a minor complaint.
The Bottom Line
Ospi keeps it tight and keeps it fair — 13 wines, honest markups, and enough Italian backbone to match the menu without turning into a wine bar that forgot to serve food. If you're after depth or discovery, you'll outgrow this list quickly, but for a relaxed Venice dinner where you just want something good in your glass without overthinking it, the Cascina Barbera or the Montepeloso will do exactly what you need.

Kismet earns its Wild Card badge because it's doing something genuinely interesting with its wine program inside a casual Los Feliz storefront — Slovenia and natural wine in a room full of freekeh fritters and Persian-style rice is a specific point of view, and we respect it. We can't quote you bottle prices or name specific pours from here, so go in curious, ask the staff what's on, and trust that someone in that room knows what they're talking about.

If you've locked in a reservation, trust the wine pairing and don't spend energy trying to optimize it.
