The wine list at Ocean Deck hits you the same way a beach souvenir shop does — familiar brands, safe choices, nothing that requires any thought. It's a list built for people who will order wine regardless of what's on it, not for people who actually care what's on it. The ocean view is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Twenty-three labels sounds like a reasonable starting point until you realize six of them are Copper Ridge — a grocery-store bulk brand that retails for around $5 a bottle. Strip those out and you've got 17 wines, clustered almost entirely around California crowd-pleasers: Kendall-Jackson, Josh Cellars, Franciscan, and Sonoma-Cutrer. There's a flicker of personality with Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and Crossings Sauvignon Blanc alongside it, but that's about as adventurous as this list gets. No Rosé, no Champagne or sparkling, no anything that might make a seafood-forward menu really sing.

Madeline's delivers exactly what it promises: a deep, accessible Cabernet-forward list with fair pricing at the entry and mid levels, and a by-the-glass program that lets you explore without committing to a full bottle. It's not going to surprise the adventurous drinker, but for Daytona Beach, this is a legitimate wine destination — especially if you go for the Garnacha or the Susumaninello instead of the crowd-pleasing Cab.
