The wine list at Ocean Deck hits you the same way a beach souvenir shop does — familiar brands, safe choices, nothing that requires any thought. It's a list built for people who will order wine regardless of what's on it, not for people who actually care what's on it. The ocean view is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Twenty-three labels sounds like a reasonable starting point until you realize six of them are Copper Ridge — a grocery-store bulk brand that retails for around $5 a bottle. Strip those out and you've got 17 wines, clustered almost entirely around California crowd-pleasers: Kendall-Jackson, Josh Cellars, Franciscan, and Sonoma-Cutrer. There's a flicker of personality with Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and Crossings Sauvignon Blanc alongside it, but that's about as adventurous as this list gets. No Rosé, no Champagne or sparkling, no anything that might make a seafood-forward menu really sing.
We couldn't confirm specific by-the-glass options or pricing from the available data, which is telling in itself — a restaurant that's proud of its glass pours usually makes them easy to find. If the pour list mirrors the bottle list, expect Copper Ridge as the house pour and maybe a Chardonnay or Cab step-up. Nothing here suggests a rotating or thoughtful glass program.
