Wingman Metrics
You walk into Leila expecting hummus and shawarma β and you get that β but the wine list throws a curveball that most people completely miss. Lebanese producers anchor a compact list that you simply won't find at the Italian joint down the street. It's not deep, but it's deliberate.
At 20-35 labels, this isn't a list that's going to intimidate anyone, but the intentionality here is real. Lebanon gets proper representation with Chateau Musar, Massaya Classic Rouge, and Domaine des Tourelles holding it down β producers that have actual history and terroir behind them, not just a pretty label. France, Italy, and Spain fill out the rest, keeping things approachable for guests who aren't ready to go full Bekaa Valley. The gap is anywhere outside those four regions β there's no New World presence and zero adventurous outliers beyond the Lebanese picks.
Eight to twelve options by the glass is a solid pour count for a restaurant this size. The real question is whether the Lebanese bottles make it onto the glass program β if Massaya Classic Rouge is pouring by the glass, that's a genuine reason to order a second. Rotation doesn't appear to be a priority here, so don't expect surprises week to week.
Massaya Classic Rouge β $12
A Lebanese blend of Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah from the Bekaa Valley that consistently punches above its price point. It's earthy, a little spiced, and built for food β exactly what you want against a plate of mixed grill.
Domaine des Tourelles
One of Lebanon's oldest wineries and most people at this table have never heard of it. That's a shame. Skip whatever French CΓ΄tes du RhΓ΄ne you were about to order and give this one a shot β it earns its place on this list.
Chateau Musar
Musar is a legitimate legend β but it's also the most expensive bottle on a Lebanese list and the one everyone gravitates to because they've heard the name. If the vintage on offer is young, you're paying a premium for a wine that needs another decade in a cellar, not a restaurant table. Ask what's pouring before you commit.
Massaya Classic Rouge + Mixed Grill
Charred kebabs and spiced lamb need a wine with enough fruit to match the smoke and enough structure to cut through the fat. Massaya's Cinsault-forward blend does exactly that without overwhelming the cumin and sumac in the meat.
π² The Bottom Line
Leila is the Wild Card call of the year in West Palm Beach β a casual Middle Eastern restaurant quietly running one of the only Lebanese wine programs in South Florida. If you're here and you order a Chardonnay, we can't help you.
The Square / Downtown Β· West Palm Beach Β· Italian trattoria
Il Bellagio is a perfectly decent place to drink Italian wine with Italian food on a warm West Palm Beach evening β just don't expect the list to surprise you, and steer clear of the Santa Margherita markup. Order the Chianti, grab a table on the plaza, and call it a reliable night out.

PLANTA West Palm Beach won't disappoint you on wine, but it won't thrill you either β the list is safe, the markups are mostly steep, and the picks are designed for consensus. Come for the food, order the Whispering Angel, and don't overthink it.

The Square / Downtown Β· West Palm Beach Β· Tuscan-inspired Italian, coastal Italian
Felice earns its keep with a genuinely Italy-focused list, a Tignanello markup that won't make you wince, and a Monday wine program that should be on your weekly calendar. Not groundbreaking, but reliably good β and in this neighborhood, that's not nothing.

Abe & Louie's is a dependable, well-stocked steakhouse wine program with real depth and knowledgeable staff β it just charges accordingly and rarely colors outside the lines. Send a friend here for a serious bottle of Cab with a prime steak, but tell them to ask the sommelier to find something off the beaten path.

Grato is a reliable wine list for a neighborhood Italian that punches above its weight in by-the-glass options and producer selection β just know the markups skew steep on anything recognizable. Send a friend here for the Pinot and the pasta, not the prestige bottles.

The Blind Monk is the kind of place West Palm Beach didn't know it needed β a genuine natural wine bar with a thoughtful list and a low-key atmosphere that makes you want to stay for another pour. The markups keep it from being a true Rager, but as a Wild Card in a city not exactly known for its wine culture, it absolutely earns a visit.
