Wingman Metrics
Twenty-six labels isn't a lot, but when 22 of them are available by the glass, this place is clearly built for exploration rather than collecting dust on a cellar list. The pricing window — $11 to $16 a glass, $36 to $119 a bottle — keeps things approachable without feeling like a gas station wine rack. It's a smart, casual setup that respects your wallet while giving you enough to play with.
The list punches its weight across the major categories: you get bubbles (Casteller Cava), a few solid whites covering Albariño, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc from three different corners of the world, and a Chardonnay that doesn't embarrass itself. The reds lean on reliable crowd-pleasers — Chianti, Malbec, Tempranillo — but there are a couple of interesting detours, including a Terzetto Nebbiolo and a Domaine De Valmoissine Pinot Noir that suggest someone on staff has at least glanced at a map of France. The inclusion of Les Hauts De Lagarde Bordeaux is a nice house touch, though whether it's here on merit or brand loyalty is worth wondering. Gaps show up in the absence of anything from the Southern Hemisphere beyond the Trivento and no real representation of American terroir beyond the Northstar Polaris Merlot and Fess Parker.
Twenty-two by-the-glass options on a 26-bottle list is almost the whole menu, which we respect — it says the priority is getting wine into people's hands, not gatekeeping bottles. The glass price ceiling of $16 is genuinely reasonable for Atlanta in 2024, and the spread across sparkling, white, and red means you're not stuck in one lane all night. No obvious rotation program in sight, though, so don't expect this list to surprise you on a return visit.
Terzetto Nebbiolo — $16/glass
Nebbiolo at a casual American eatery is already a mild plot twist, and at $16 a glass it's the most interesting pour on the list for the price. You're getting a grape that usually demands serious bottle prices, in a setting where most people are ordering Malbec. Worth the detour.
Columma Albariño
Most tables will walk right past this and order the Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc out of habit. That's a mistake. Albariño from Rías Baixas has a saline, citrus-forward personality that's more interesting than your average white pour at a spot like this — and most people at the table won't know what it is, which makes ordering it its own small victory.
Robert Mondavi Sauvignon Blanc
When you've got the Whitehaven and the Saint Roch Sauvignon Blanc already on the list, the Mondavi is redundant and adds nothing — it's the most grocery-store pick in the bunch. You can find this bottle at Kroger for less than what you'll pay here by the glass. Skip it and spend those dollars on the Nebbiolo.
Chateau Fage Bordeaux Blanc + Brunch eggs dish
A dry, Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc blend from Bordeaux has the acidity and body to cut through rich egg preparations without overwhelming them — it's the kind of white that makes brunch feel more intentional than a mimosa ever could. The Chateau Fage is quietly the most food-friendly white on this list.
The Bottom Line
Lagarde's wine annex isn't going to show up on any must-visit wine destination lists, but it's doing the honest work of making good-enough wine accessible at fair prices with a few genuine bright spots buried in the lineup. Send a friend here who wants to try something a little off the beaten path without getting a lecture about it.
· Atlanta · Sushi / Omakase
Sushi By Bou is clearly here to serve great fish — and the wine list confirms that wine is very much an afterthought. Order the Dom if you're feeling flush or the Hampton Water if you're being sensible, and let the food do the heavy lifting.

Rose & Rye isn't a destination for wine nerds, but it's a perfectly functional list for a date night where the wine is supporting the evening, not headlining it. Order the Crémant, avoid the Caymus markup, and you'll do just fine.

Hal's delivers a competent, Napa-forward bottle list that does exactly what a steakhouse wine program is supposed to do — just without much surprise or value mercy. Send a friend here if they want a reliable big-red experience; warn them to leave the credit card breathing room.

Nando's is here for the chicken, and the wine list knows it — eight uninspired labels that exist to check a box, not to enhance your meal. Order the Vinho Verde, enjoy your peri-peri, and don't overthink it.

Bici's wine list won't knock you sideways, but it's honest, Italian-focused, and fairly priced — a reliable partner to the food. We'd send a friend here and tell them to skip the Sauvignon Blanc and go straight for the Greco.

· Atlanta · Southern
SouthernNational is doing something genuinely unusual — running a tight, Europe-forward wine list inside a Southern kitchen, and mostly pulling it off. If you're tired of the same Sonoma Pinot and overpriced Malbec at every restaurant in town, this list is worth your attention.

Cheddar's is a casual comfort-food chain, and the wine list reflects exactly that level of ambition — none. Order a beer or a cocktail and save the wine conversation for somewhere that wants to have it.

The Rotunda is a lunch experience first and a wine destination a distant second — the list is safe, the markup is real, and you're largely paying for the address and the atmosphere. Come for the crab salad and the occasion, order something bubbly, and don't go in expecting a serious wine program.

The Wild Sage is your dependable neighborhood spot in Eagle Ranch — the wine list won't blow your mind, but it won't embarrass you at dinner either. Watch the markups on the top-shelf Napa bottles and stick to the mid-range, and you'll be fine.
