Wingman Metrics
Walk into a winery tasting room in Jackson Hole and the first thought is: wait, they actually make wine here? They do — Jackson Hole Winery sources from Sonoma County and bottles under their own label, which is either charming or suspicious depending on your mood. We're leaning charming. The historic barn setting with Spring Creek views does a lot of heavy lifting, but the wines earn their keep.
The list is tight — somewhere between 20 and 40 bottles, nearly all from the house label drawing on Sonoma County fruit. That's a narrow lane, but they drive it cleanly. You're not getting a globe-trotting wine list here; this is a focused, single-producer program built around their Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Rosé. The lack of outside producers means zero discovery upside for the adventurous drinker, but if you're here to taste what a Wyoming-branded winery actually puts in the bottle, the answer is: better than you'd expect.
The by-the-glass program runs 8–15 options depending on the day, which is genuinely solid for a boutique operation of this size. Expect the core house lineup to dominate the pour list. Rotation isn't aggressive — this isn't a spot spinning through new arrivals every week — but the pours are consistent and honestly priced for the market.
Jackson Hole Winery Rosé — $14
In a town where mediocre cocktails run $18, a glass of house Rosé at this price point from Sonoma-sourced fruit is the obvious move. Light, approachable, and won't wreck your afternoon.
Jackson Hole Winery Chardonnay
Most people sleep on the Chardonnay at a place like this, defaulting to red. Don't. Sonoma Chardonnay done without heavy oak can be the sleeper of any tasting flight, and this one deserves a closer look than it usually gets.
Jackson Hole Winery Cabernet Sauvignon
Not because it's bad — it's not — but at a boutique tasting room, the big red always gets ordered first and judged hardest. Expectations run high, Sonoma Cab from a small operation is rarely transcendent, and you'll likely walk away underwhelmed compared to what that same money buys at a dedicated Sonoma producer.
Jackson Hole Winery Rosé + Charcuterie Board
The tasting room format is built for snacking, and a dry Rosé from Sonoma-sourced fruit cuts through cured meats and soft cheeses without competing. It's the obvious call, and obvious calls are obvious for a reason.
🎲 The Bottom Line
Jackson Hole Winery is the kind of place that surprises you into enjoying yourself — it's not a deep list or a wine nerd's paradise, but it's honest, fairly priced, and genuinely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood. Send a friend here for a tasting flight and a good story, not for a serious cellar dig.
Jackson Town · Jackson Hole · Barbecue
Bubba's doesn't pretend to be a wine destination, and we respect the honesty — but the list is the definition of set-it-and-forget-it. Order a beer, enjoy the ribs, and save your wine curiosity for somewhere that reciprocates.

Teton Village · Jackson Hole · Outdoor Bar
The Handle Bar is the kind of wine program that does exactly what it needs to do for its setting — no more, no less. You'll drink well here if you pick smart, but this isn't a destination for wine people so much as a very competent resort bar that happens to have Opus One on the list.

Downtown Jackson · Jackson Hole · Cafe / Bakery
Persephone isn't a wine destination, but it absolutely punches above its weight for what it is — a bakery-café with a genuinely thoughtful short list of natural pours at fair prices. If you're in Jackson and want a glass of something interesting without the steakhouse markup, this is your move.

Town of Jackson · Jackson Hole · French-Inspired Bistro
The Bistro earns its stripes as a reliable wine destination in Jackson Hole — the sommelier influence is visible, the European focus is coherent, and the list has depth worth exploring. Just go in knowing the markups are hotel-resort territory, and steer toward the Old World bottles where the curation is strongest.

East of Jackson · Jackson Hole · Steakhouse / Grill
The Grill at Spring Creek Ranch delivers a competent, crowd-pleasing wine list that matches the lodge aesthetic perfectly — reliable, a little expensive, and zero risk. If you're here for the views and the bison, you'll drink well enough; just don't come expecting the list to match the drama outside the window.

Bin22 is the wine bar that has no business being this good in the middle of Wyoming ski country, and that's exactly why we're sending people here. If you're in Jackson Hole and you care about what's in your glass, this is the only address that matters.

Vin Atl is doing something most Atlanta wine bars aren't: curating a short list with genuine intention instead of padding it with safe bets. At these prices, it's worth a stop even if you only come for one bottle.

Legacy West · Plano · Wine Bar
CRÚ Plano punches well above its Legacy West strip-mall setting — 300 bottles and a genuinely active specials calendar make this worth a dedicated visit, not just a last-resort pour before the movie. Just don't come looking for Burgundy and you'll leave happy.

The Cask is a genuinely pleasant place to spend an evening — the vibe is right, the crowd is friendly, and the bar snacks do their job. But the wine list is overpriced brand recognition, not a curated program, and no amount of Tuesday specials changes the math on a $40 Josh Cellars.
