Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Harry's is short — 26 labels — but it's punching above its weight for a Downtown West Palm steakhouse that mostly wants you to order a ribeye and a cocktail. The structure is clean, broken into the obvious categories with a small 'Sommelier Reserve' section that at least signals someone gave this some thought.
The list leans heavily on crowd-friendly anchors: Moët, Dom Pérignon, Krug on the sparkling side, and reliable Napa Cab territory on the red end. What saves it from being totally forgettable is a handful of genuinely interesting picks — Pavelot's Savigny-lès-Beaune, the Ingrid Groiss 'Hasenhaide' from Austria, and the Punica Vermentino 'Samas' out of Sardinia add actual character to a list that could have just been Kendall-Jackson and called it a day. The Bordeaux and Rhône representation is token at best, and there's no real depth past one or two bottles per region, so don't come looking for a vertical.
Twenty-four by-the-glass options from a 26-label list means almost everything is available by the glass, which is either very generous or a sign that the cellar isn't holding much back. The glass price ceiling hits $75 — presumably for the Dom or Krug — which is a steep ask at a bar restaurant, but the lower end starts at a reasonable $12. Rotation doesn't appear to be a priority here; what you see is what you get.
Alessandro Veglio Barbera d'Alba — null
Barbera from a solid Piedmont producer in a steakhouse setting is an underrated move — it's got the acidity to cut through fat and enough red fruit to hold its own against a ribeye without demanding the same price tag as the Bordeaux options on this list.
Ingrid Groiss 'Hasenhaide'
An Austrian white from a biodynamic producer tucked onto a Florida steakhouse list is genuinely surprising. Most tables will walk right past it, but if you want something with real tension and character before your steak arrives, this is the move.
Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial
You're paying restaurant markup on the most ubiquitous Champagne on earth. The Bisol Prosecco 'Jeio' gets you fizz for the toast without the inflated tab, and the Krug is right there if you actually want to spend up for something worth it.
Pavelot Pinot Noir Savigny-lès-Beaune + Filet mignon
Filet is the leaner, more refined cut on the menu, and Pavelot's Savigny matches that energy — earthy, structured Burgundy Pinot that doesn't steamroll the beef the way a big Napa Cab would.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Harry's wine list won't blow anyone away, but a few smart picks buried in a short lineup make it more than just a bottle-of-Cab-before-the-steak situation. If you know where to look, you'll drink well enough — just don't expect the list to do the work for you.

Il Bellagio is a perfectly decent place to drink Italian wine with Italian food on a warm West Palm Beach evening — just don't expect the list to surprise you, and steer clear of the Santa Margherita markup. Order the Chianti, grab a table on the plaza, and call it a reliable night out.

PLANTA West Palm Beach won't disappoint you on wine, but it won't thrill you either — the list is safe, the markups are mostly steep, and the picks are designed for consensus. Come for the food, order the Whispering Angel, and don't overthink it.

Felice earns its keep with a genuinely Italy-focused list, a Tignanello markup that won't make you wince, and a Monday wine program that should be on your weekly calendar. Not groundbreaking, but reliably good — and in this neighborhood, that's not nothing.

Abe & Louie's is a dependable, well-stocked steakhouse wine program with real depth and knowledgeable staff — it just charges accordingly and rarely colors outside the lines. Send a friend here for a serious bottle of Cab with a prime steak, but tell them to ask the sommelier to find something off the beaten path.

Grato is a reliable wine list for a neighborhood Italian that punches above its weight in by-the-glass options and producer selection — just know the markups skew steep on anything recognizable. Send a friend here for the Pinot and the pasta, not the prestige bottles.

The Blind Monk is the kind of place West Palm Beach didn't know it needed — a genuine natural wine bar with a thoughtful list and a low-key atmosphere that makes you want to stay for another pour. The markups keep it from being a true Rager, but as a Wild Card in a city not exactly known for its wine culture, it absolutely earns a visit.

Proper Grit is a good-looking restaurant with a wine list that doesn't match its ambitions — steep markups on brands you can buy at Publix aren't a wine program, they're a tax on people not paying attention. Order a cocktail, or bring your own if the corkage is reasonable.

Chop House does what a casino steakhouse wine list is supposed to do: it stocks the names people recognize, charges casino prices for them, and gets out of the way. If you're here for the prime ribeye and a bottle of Jordan, you'll leave happy — just don't look too hard at the markups.

Cattleman's Exchange isn't a wine destination, but it's not a disaster either — it's a hotel steakhouse doing hotel steakhouse things. If you're in Abilene and need a Cab with your beef, you'll find something that works; just don't expect the list to surprise you.
