The wine list at Hacienda de Mesilla is less a list and more a footnote — two sparkling options tucked into the brunch menu, both of them fizzy and neither of them followed by anything else. If you came here hoping to explore wine with your enchiladas, you're going to need a different plan.
What we have here is exactly two labels: a Cavicchioli 1928 Prosecco and a Gruet New Mexico Sparkling Brut. That's it. There's no red, no white, no rosé, no by-the-glass depth, no regional exploration. To be fair, Gruet is a genuinely solid New Mexico producer with real pedigree — their méthode champenoise sparkling wines punch well above the price point — but one local gem doesn't constitute a wine program. The list reads like someone remembered wine existed five minutes before the menu went to print.
We can't confirm whether either bottle is poured by the glass or only sold as a bottle — the brunch menu doesn't specify, and no pricing is listed. What we can say is that two sparkling options for an entire dining room is a thin offering no matter how you slice it.

Hacienda de Mesilla is clearly not trying to be a wine destination, and that's fine — but two sparkling labels on a brunch menu is not a wine program, it's an afterthought.
