Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Global Grill is short β we're not going to pretend otherwise. But what's here shows some genuine curiosity, and in downtown Pensacola, that counts for something. The $8β$13 glass range keeps things accessible without feeling like a gas station pour.
The list skews small but lands a few punches above its weight. Italy shows up with the Bisol 'Crede' Prosecco, a legit producer from Valdobbiadene that you'd expect to see on a more ambitious list β not a random house sparkler. Then there's the Gruet Blanc de Noir from New Mexico, which is the kind of left-field pick that signals someone actually thought about this list. The regional range is thin and there are obvious gaps, but the selections that made the cut were chosen with intention.
Glass pours top out at $13, which is a reasonable ceiling for this market. The by-the-glass program appears to lean on a small, stable lineup rather than any kind of rotating or curated program. Don't come here expecting a dozen options β but the ones you find shouldn't embarrass you.
Bisol 'Crede' Prosecco β $13
Bisol is one of the most respected names in Valdobbiadene, and getting their 'Crede' cuvΓ©e by the glass at this price point is a genuine win. Most restaurants charge this for something far less interesting.
Gruet Blanc de Noir
New Mexico sparkling wine sounds like a novelty act, but Gruet is the real deal β a French-trained family making mΓ©thode traditionnelle bubbles in the high desert. Most diners scroll right past it. They shouldn't.
Prosecco (house)
If there's a generic house Prosecco alongside the Bisol, skip it entirely β the 'Crede' is right there and the price gap is small. Don't settle for the forgettable version when the good one costs barely more.
Gruet Blanc de Noir + Global small plates or charcuterie
Gruet's Blanc de Noir has enough red fruit and body to hold up to richer bites while the bubbles cut through anything salty or fatty β exactly what you want when grazing across a global-inspired menu.
π² The Bottom Line
Global Grill's wine list is short but not lazy β the Bisol and Gruet picks alone suggest someone here actually cares. It's not a destination wine experience, but for downtown Pensacola, it's a pleasant surprise worth raising a glass to.
Downtown Β· Pensacola Β· Gastropub / Cocktail & Wine Bar
The Burrow is a Wild Card because the wine list itself is flawed β anchored by overpriced grocery-store bottles at full price β but the weekly deal structure genuinely rescues it. Hit it on Tuesday for half-price bottles or Friday for the tasting flight, and you're having a good night in Pensacola for very little money.

Skopelos at New World is doing more with wine than any other white-tablecloth spot on the Pensacola waterfront, and the Greek wine section alone earns it a second look. Markups keep it from being a true destination for wine lovers, but as a reliable partner to a legitimately good dinner, it delivers.

Seville Historic District Β· Pensacola Β· Upscale Steakhouse & Seafood
The District is a reliable steakhouse wine list in a market that doesn't have a ton of competition β it gets the job done, leans hard on Napa names people trust, and charges for the privilege. Send a friend here for the steak and the Gulf seafood; just go in knowing you're paying restaurant prices for wines you could identify from across the room.

West Hill Β· Pensacola Β· Latin / Tapas
El Coqui isn't trying to be a wine destination β it's a neighborhood tapas spot with a list that actually thinks about what you're eating. That's more than most places in this category bother to do, and it earns a genuine recommendation.

Angelena's isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's doing more than the room requires β fair prices, real Italian producers, and a list that rewards the curious diner who looks past the Pinot Grigio. Send a friend here for the Tuesday wine special and the Nero d'Avola.

Perdido Key Β· Pensacola Β· Creole
Fisherman's Corner is a genuine wild card: a Gulf Coast shack that takes California wine seriously enough to earn a decade-plus of Wine Spectator recognition. The markups could be kinder and the list could use some personality beyond Napa, but Wednesday half-price night and a waterfront sunset make a strong argument for showing up anyway.
