Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Gatlinburg Brewing Company is exactly what you'd expect to find tucked behind a tap wall in a mountain tourist town — six varietal names, no producers, and a flat $7 price tag across the board. It's not a wine list so much as a wine acknowledgment: yes, we have wine, now please order a beer.
Six wines, all apparent volume brands, covering the greatest hits of the grocery store aisle: Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot Grigio, White Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and Moscato. No producers are listed, no regions, no vintages — nothing that would help you make an informed decision beyond 'red or white.' There's no discernible curation here, just a hedge for the table member who doesn't drink beer. The list hasn't changed and likely won't.
Every wine is available by the glass at $7, which is the one legitimately nice thing we can say here — at least they're not gouging you. All six options are pours-only with no bottle service evident, which makes this strictly a casual, one-glass situation. Don't come chasing a second pour expecting a different experience.
The Bottom Line
This is a brewery that serves wine the way a steakhouse serves veggie burgers — technically available, clearly not the point. At $7 flat, the pricing is painless, but with zero producer information and a list built entirely from generic varietals, there's no reason to come here for wine. Grab one of their beers, enjoy the Smokies, and save your wine curiosity for somewhere that returns the favor.

Hofbräuhaus Gatlinburg is here to sell you a liter of beer in a giant mug, and honestly, that's the right call. The wine program is six unlabeled varietals with no pricing transparency and zero evidence of anyone tending to it with care. Order the Märzen, skip the wine.

Chesapeake's Gatlinburg isn't trying to win a wine award, and it doesn't need to — the list is honest, the pricing is fair for what it is, and the white wine depth is genuinely appropriate for a seafood restaurant. If you're in Gatlinburg and want a bottle that won't break the bank or embarrass you, you can do a lot worse than landing on that Dry Creek Chenin Blanc.

Ole Red is a concert venue and bar that happens to have wine on the menu — and it shows. If you're in Gatlinburg for live music and cold beer, this place probably delivers. If you're looking to drink well, skip the wine entirely and order a cocktail or a local beer. There are better uses for your $10.

· Gatlinburg · Italian
A five-bottle wine list at an Italian restaurant with zero Italian wines on it is not a wine program — it's a placeholder. If you're in Gatlinburg and wine matters to you tonight, this isn't your stop. The October wine dinner series is genuinely interesting and worth watching, but the everyday list doesn't give us enough to recommend making wine a priority here.

Dick's Last Resort is a novelty dining experience built around rude service and tourist energy — and the wine list is consistent with that brand in the worst possible way. Skip the wine entirely, order a beer or a bucket cocktail, and save your wine curiosity for literally anywhere else in the Smokies.

Bootleggers is a Gatlinburg curiosity worth a stop if you're already in town and in the right headspace — which is to say, relaxed, not taking yourself too seriously, and maybe still a little sunburned from the afternoon. Don't come looking for a serious wine program; do come if you want to try something local, weird, and made with actual intent.
