Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Cafe Milano reads like the shelf tag at your local Kroger — familiar names, approachable prices, zero surprises. Nineteen labels covering the full menu is technically a wine program, but it's doing the bare minimum to earn that title. At least the pricing doesn't make you wince.
The list leans heavily on mass-market California producers: Copperidge by E&J Gallo anchors the house section across four varietals, Kendall Jackson shows up three times, and Beringer contributes two Moscato-adjacent options. There are a couple of nods to Italy — the Banfi Bellagio Chianti and two Ruffino Chianti Ducale Riservas — which at least matches the restaurant's cuisine. The Bolla Valpolicella is a familiar face, and it's fine for what it is, but there's nothing here from Piedmont, Campania, or anywhere that might make an Italian food lover's eyes light up. The list doesn't evolve; it just sits there.
Seventeen of nineteen wines are available by the glass, which is genuinely generous and the clearest sign that this place wants to be accessible. Glass pours run $5.95–$7.95, which is honest money in 2024. The problem is the selection doesn't change — what you see is what you've always gotten.
The Bottom Line
Cafe Milano's wine list is a placeholder, not a program — Gallo house pours and grocery-store staples with a couple of Ruffino Chiantis to remind you you're at an Italian restaurant. The pricing is fair and the by-the-glass selection is wide, so you won't feel robbed, but you will feel like the kitchen cares more about your meal than the list does about your glass. Order the Chianti Riserva and spend your energy on the food.

Sapori di Napoli isn't trying to be a wine destination, and that's fine — it's a pizzeria that put genuine thought into sixteen Italian bottles instead of padding the list with grocery-store fillers. If you're looking for a deep cellar or adventurous pours, keep walking; if you want a solid Valpolicella or a proper Brunello with your Neapolitan pie, this list delivers exactly what it promises.

· Alpharetta · Italian
Ippolito's Alpharetta keeps it simple and mostly keeps it fair — bottle prices stay under $50, the Italian reds are the right call for the cuisine, and the across-the-board by-the-glass program gives you flexibility. Skip the Meiomi, lean into the Italian side of the list, and you'll drink well enough for a weeknight dinner without any drama.

Le Sorelle is a genuinely warm neighborhood Italian with a wine program that does its job without showing off. We don't have enough sourced detail on specific bottles or pricing to steer you toward a particular pour, but the overall restaurant quality — attentive service, serious cooking, special-occasion energy — suggests the wine won't let you down either. Go for the food, drink whatever they recommend with the Lamb Shank, and trust the room.
