Wingman Metrics
Brassica sits inside the Waldorf Astoria Buckhead, which tells you most of what you need to know before the wine list even lands on the table. The setting is polished and the service is attentive, but hotel restaurant wine programs tend to prioritize margin over discovery — and nothing we've seen here suggests Brassica is the exception.
Sources indicate a Spain-leaning regional focus, which is an interesting call for a Mediterranean concept and could make for a genuinely compelling list. Unfortunately, the actual depth, breadth, and producer quality of the list remains unverifiable from available data. At entree prices running $30–$60, the wine program almost certainly skews expensive, and hotel markups rarely favor the diner. Until we can get eyes on the actual list, we're treating this as a question mark with an expensive answer.
By-the-glass options are unknown based on current research. In a hotel dining room at this price point, expect a handful of safe, recognizable pours — but we can't confirm counts, quality, or rotation. If you're considering Brassica for a wine-forward night out, call ahead and ask what's open.
The Bottom Line
Brassica might be hiding a thoughtful, Spain-forward wine program behind that Waldorf lobby — but we can't confirm it, and hotel dining rooms rarely earn the benefit of the doubt on pricing. If you're eating here for the butter-poached lobster or the rack of venison, go for it. Just keep your wine expectations measured until someone puts the actual list online.

Chicheria is not a wine destination, and it isn't trying to be. The $38 bottle price is fair for what L.A. Cetto delivers, and the $10 glass keeps things accessible. But if wine matters to you on a given night, you'll want to either call ahead about corkage or make peace with a margarita.

Paschal's earns its reputation on the plate — the fried chicken alone justifies the trip to Northside Drive. But the wine list isn't doing the food any favors, and there's no evidence of a serious program behind the bar. Order a cocktail, ask for sweet tea, or bring your own if corkage allows — and focus on what this kitchen actually does well.

Downtown Atlanta · Atlanta · American
Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta's wine list is a Lazy List by every measure — grocery store brands, steep markups, no specials, and a rotating staff with little incentive to know what's in the glass. If you're here for the memorabilia and the atmosphere, lean into a cocktail or a beer. If wine is non-negotiable, the Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling or Columbia Crest Cab will get you through the night without regret.

Alma Cocina is primarily a food-and-cocktail destination — the tequila and mezcal program is where the real energy lives. The wine list covers its bases with Spanish and South American bottles that suit the menu, but don't come here with a wine-first agenda. If wine is central to your night, this is a fine backup; if it's the main event, look elsewhere downtown.

Bar Blanc earns the Wild Card badge not by accident but by conviction — this is a short list assembled with a real point of view, priced fairly, and anchored by producers most Atlanta wine lists haven't discovered yet. We'd send a friend here any night they want to drink something genuinely interesting without being lectured about it.

No Mas! Cantina earns its reputation on agave, atmosphere, and birria tacos — not on its wine list. If wine is your thing, you'll find a functional but uninspiring selection that won't embarrass anyone but won't impress either. Order the margarita, enjoy the room, and save your wine curiosity for somewhere that shares it.

Santa Maria is a genuine surprise for Cumming — a 26-bottle list that manages to be both approachable and quietly adventurous, with fair pricing and some real personality in the whites. We don't have enough intel on the staff or the floor experience to call it a Rager, but the wine program itself earns a Wild Card: it's doing things you wouldn't expect, and that's worth showing up for.

A very large list organized as Boundaries and Frontiers, with a short glass page that includes Champagne, Portuguese wines, port and madeira. Order the $15/glass Gota Branco, or ask about the Luis Seabra Douro red at 90 (unit not posted) from the Portugal pages, and confirm current availability. This unrated guide covers the posted wine list, not service, storage or markups.
Magnificent Mile · Chicago · Mediterranean
A 38-pour glass list with unpriced Champagne and Burgundy-heavy bottle pages behind it. Start with the $14 Tiberio Trebbiano or the $15 Thymiopoulos Assyrtiko, and ask for bottle prices because the posted bottle pages carry none. This unrated guide covers the posted drinks menu, not service, storage or markups.
