Wine Tuesday Saves This Corporate Seafood List

The wine list at Bonefish Grill Overland Park is exactly what you'd expect from a national seafood chain — familiar labels, approachable prices, zero surprises. It's corporate by design, built to sell bottles to people who want something easy and recognizable alongside their Bang Bang Shrimp. That said, the markups are measured, and Wine Tuesday genuinely changes the calculus here.
The list runs 30–40 labels pulling from California, New Zealand, Italy, and France — all the usual suspects, nothing that'll make a wine nerd's eyes light up. You're looking at Joel Gott, Kim Crawford, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Ecco Domani — brands designed for maximum inoffensiveness. There's no depth to speak of in the Old World section, and don't go looking for anything from Spain, Germany, or the Southern Hemisphere beyond Marlborough. What this list does well is stay in its lane: it's seafood-focused, easy to navigate, and nothing is truly overpriced at standard rates.
Ten to fourteen pours by the glass gives you options without overwhelming anyone. The selection skews white and light-bodied, which makes sense for a seafood house — Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay and Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc are the workhorses here. Rotation appears minimal; this is a set-it-and-forget-it BTG program rather than anything dynamic.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough — $10.90/glass
At $10.90 a glass, this is the sharpest pour on the list — it's a recognizable, reliable Marlborough SB that actually makes sense with the seafood menu. On a Tuesday, if it's included in the half-price program, you're at roughly $5.45 a glass, which is a flat-out steal for what's in the glass.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay
Most people overlook Washington State Chardonnay on a list like this, defaulting to the California names. Ste. Michelle is a serious producer making honest, food-friendly Chardonnay at a price that doesn't punish you — it's the quieter pick that outperforms its reputation in this setting.
Cupcake Vineyards Moscato d'Asti
At $7.90 a glass against a $10 retail bottle, you're paying more per ounce than almost anything else on the list, and you're getting a wine that's difficult to finish without a dessert menu in hand. Skip it in favor of something that actually complements the savory food in front of you.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough + Bang Bang Shrimp
The citrus snap and grassy bite of a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc cuts right through the creamy, spicy sauce on the Bang Bang Shrimp without getting steamrolled by the heat. It's one of the more intuitive food-wine moments on this menu and it actually works.
Tuesday — Chain-wide 'Wine Tuesday' promotion offers half-price on selected bottles every Tuesday. The Overland Park location participates in this national program — if you're going to drink wine here, this is the night to do it.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Bonefish Grill isn't a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — but the markups are honest, the BTG program covers the bases for a seafood dinner, and Wine Tuesday is a legitimate reason to show up on a Tuesday night. Send a friend here if they want a reliable glass with their fish and a fair bill at the end.

Ruth's Chris Overland Park delivers exactly what it promises: a big, well-managed wine list staffed by people who know it, served in proper glassware at prices that will make you wince. Send a friend here for a business dinner or a celebration, but tell them to stick to the mid-tier California reds and leave the prestige bottles for someone else's tab.

Garozzo's isn't a wine destination, but it's a reliable Italian dinner with a list that won't embarrass you — especially if you show up on a Sunday. Half-price bottles up to $100 is a legitimate deal, and for a neighborhood Italian that's been around long enough to bottle its own Chianti, there's more to like here than the list length suggests.

Tavern at Mission Farms is a reliable neighborhood wine list — nothing that'll move you, but Wednesday half-price bottles flip the math entirely and make this worth a weekly habit. Come for the deal, not the depth.

Jax Fish House isn't trying to be a wine destination, but whoever built this list understood the assignment: bright, acid-driven bottles that make raw seafood taste better. The Thursday wine special and a sommelier on staff push this comfortably past what you'd expect from a regional chain concept.
