Wingman Metrics
Walk into BJ's and the beer menu is doing all the heavy lifting — and honestly, that's fine, because the beer is the point. The wine list feels like an afterthought appended to a laminated menu that's more interested in selling you a Pizookie. California-focused and predictable, it's the kind of list that exists to check a box, not to excite anyone.
What we know about the wine program here tracks exactly with what you'd expect from a national brewpub chain: California-dominant, built around approachable, recognizable varietals that won't intimidate the table ordering Avocado Egg Rolls. Don't expect anything from small producers, unusual regions, or anything remotely adventurous — this list is engineered for the broadest possible audience. Depth is not the goal; convenience is. If you're hoping for Old World options or anything with a story behind it, you're in the wrong restaurant.
The by-the-glass program exists, and Tuesday is actually a legitimate reason to show up — half-price wine pours, with cabernet specifically called out as part of the deal. Outside of that, the glass list is standard chain fare: a handful of familiar varietals at prices that don't exactly reward you for choosing wine over one of BJ's own craft beers.
Tuesday — Half-price glasses of wine on Tuesdays, with cabernet specifically discounted as part of BJ's rotating daily specials and happy hour offerings.
The Bottom Line
BJ's in Yuma is a brewpub first and a wine destination approximately never. If you're coming for craft beer, you'll leave happy. If you're coming for wine, show up on a Tuesday for the half-price pours, order whatever cab is on special, and make peace with the fact that the Pizookie is the real reason everyone's here. We wouldn't send a wine-curious friend here for the list — but we might see them there on a Tuesday anyway.
· Yuma · Sports Bar / American
This is not a wine destination — it's a sports bar that offers wine the same way a gas station offers sushi. Order a beer, enjoy your wings, and revisit this question somewhere else.

Cracker Barrel is not a wine destination and has made absolutely no effort to be one. Order the biscuits, maybe get a mimosa if the mood strikes, and save your wine curiosity for literally anywhere else.

Logan's Roadhouse isn't here for wine people, and the wine list makes no effort to pretend otherwise. Grab a La Vieille Ferme Rosé or an Underwood Pinot and set your expectations accordingly — this is a beer-and-bourbon room wearing a wine list as a formality.

Chili's Yuma is a place to drink a margarita and eat fajitas, and there is absolutely no shame in that. Just don't come here for the wine — order a cocktail, enjoy your ribs, and save the bottle of wine for somewhere that actually cares.

The wine list at Olive Garden Yuma is a placeholder, not a program — it checks the box without trying to do anything more. Order the Chianti, eat the breadsticks, and save your real wine curiosity for somewhere that shares it.

Historic Downtown · Yuma · Wine Bar
Old Town Wine Cellar is the kind of place that makes you rethink what a small desert city can pull off — the list is genuinely deep, the prices are almost aggressively fair, and the Coravin program punches it up another level. If you're passing through Yuma or happen to live there, this is your spot.

This is a brewery first, a restaurant second, and a wine destination never. If you want wine in Telluride, there are better places to spend $15 a glass — come here for the beer, order the burger, and let someone else handle the Pinot.

BJ's Frederick is a great spot if you're here for a craft pint and a Pizookie — and you should be. But the wine list exists purely as a formality, and we'd feel bad sending anyone here specifically for a glass of something interesting. Order the beer.

BJ's is a perfectly fine brewhouse with decent food and great beer — the wine program just has no business being the reason you show up. Order a craft pour, enjoy your Pizookie, and come back to wine somewhere that tried.
