You don't expect to flip open a wine list in Coeur d'Alene and find Ruinart, Billecart-Salmon, and Aubry sharing a page — but here we are. Beverly's comes in swinging with 334 labels and a sparkling section that would make a Reims wine bar nervous. This is not the list of a restaurant that fell asleep at the wheel.
The sparkling and Champagne program alone is remarkable for any market, let alone landlocked northern Idaho. You've got grower producers like Aubry, Nominé Renard, and Moutard Père & Fils sitting alongside heavy hitters like Veuve Clicquot, Philipponnat, and Billecart-Salmon — that's actual range, not just name-dropping. The 334-label total list suggests serious depth across other categories too, even though the extracted data skews heavily sparkling. One genuinely thoughtful touch: a dedicated non-alcohol sparkling section with options like the Domaine EdeM N. 0 Rosae, which is more than most fine dining spots bother with.
Twenty-five by-the-glass options is a confident number, and the glass pours span from a $12 Montefresco Prosecco all the way to $65 for Ruinart Blanc de Blancs — so you can calibrate your evening accordingly. The Gruet Sauvage Blanc de Blancs at $16 is a legit pour that won't embarrass you. Charging $45 a glass for Veuve Clicquot is a little aggressive, but at least they're pouring things worth talking about.

One of the most interesting grower Champagnes on the list — Aubry works with rare legacy varieties like Petit Meslier and Arbanne, giving this wine a complexity you won't find in anything from the big houses. At $135 it's priced right for what it is, and almost nobody orders it.
Veuve Clicquot Reserve Cuvee Brut
Forty-five dollars a glass for a bottle you can grab at Total Wine for $65 is a hard ask — especially when grower Champagnes on this same list offer more character for less money by the bottle.

Billecart's rosé is one of the most food-friendly Champagnes in the game — delicate enough not to bulldoze delicate fish, but with enough structure and red-fruit brightness to keep things interesting through every bite.
The Bottom Line
Beverly's is doing something genuinely unexpected in the Idaho Panhandle — a Champagne-forward list with real grower depth that earns its place alongside any serious fine dining wine program in a much bigger city. If you care about bubbles at all, this one's worth the trip.

Seasons of Coeur d'Alene is clearly focused on the food, and that's fine — but four wines at a New American restaurant in 2024 is a choice, and not a good one. Order the Gewurztraminer, enjoy whatever's seasonal on the plate, and don't come here expecting anything more from the wine side of things.
