Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Bar Louie reads exactly like you'd expect from a national chain gastropub near a concert venue — familiar names, low-risk picks, and nothing that's going to make you put your phone down. It's a list built for people who want wine without thinking about wine, which is fine until you realize you're paying for the convenience of not thinking.
The list leans hard on California and domestic staples with no real attempt at regional exploration or producer discovery. Josh Cellars and Kendall-Jackson are the anchors here — both perfectly competent, both available at every grocery store in America. La Marca Prosecco rounds out the bubbles corner, which is exactly one sparkling option. There are no old-world surprises, no emerging regions, and no indication that anyone curating this list has thought about it recently.
You're looking at 8-14 by-the-glass options that mirror the broader list — safe, recognizable, and priced accessibly in the $4.50–$9 range. The low glass prices are the biggest thing working in this list's favor, especially for a pre-show stop. Don't expect any rotation or seasonal swaps; what's on the menu tonight was probably on the menu six months ago.
La Marca Prosecco — $9
At the top of the glass price range but still reasonable for a reliable, food-friendly bubble. It's the most fun thing on this list and works with the bar snack energy of the place.
Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay
Maligned by wine nerds, loved by everyone else for a reason — it's consistent, it's crowd-pleasing, and at Bar Louie's glass prices it's an honest pour that won't disappoint anyone at the table who just wants a cold glass of Chardonnay.
Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
This is a $12 retail bottle showing up on a bar menu. Even at these prices, you're getting marked up on something you could crack open at home any night of the week. Order a cocktail instead — it's what Bar Louie actually does well.
La Marca Prosecco + Bourbon BBQ Burger
The sweet-smoke hit of the Bourbon BBQ sauce needs something with bubbles and a little sweetness to cut through it. La Marca is light enough not to fight the burger and fizzy enough to reset your palate between bites.
❌ The Bottom Line
Bar Louie is a pre-concert cocktail bar that happens to have wine on the menu — treat it as such. If you're parked here before a show at the Toyota Music Factory, grab a glass of Prosecco and enjoy the patio; just don't come here expecting anyone to care about what's in your glass.
Las Colinas · Irving · Cajun / Southern
Po Melvin's is almost certainly cooking something worth eating — the wine list just isn't part of the experience. Order the Riesling or Prosecco if you want wine, otherwise stick to a cold beer or whatever's on tap.

The Blue Fish is a fun night out, and the food holds up — but the wine list is running on autopilot. Order the Mumm Napa, enjoy your rolls, and don't expect the list to surprise you.

Las Colinas / Toyota Music Factory · Irving · Modern American
The Henry Las Colinas isn't a destination for wine lovers, but it's a genuinely solid neighborhood option with fair pricing and a Tuesday half-price program that makes the whole conversation more interesting. Show up on a Tuesday, order the Jordan, and stop overthinking it.

Irving Mall Area · Irving · Cajun / Creole
Razzoo's Irving is a great place to eat Cajun food and drink cold beer — the wine program is incidental and treated as such. If your table insists on wine, the Prosecco is your safest exit ramp.

Grimaldi's is worth the trip for the coal-fired pizza; the wine list is not worth thinking about. Order the Chianti or the Nero d'Avola, don't look at the markup math, and focus on the pizza.

Las Colinas · Irving · American Sports Bar / Casual Dining
Champps Las Colinas is a place to watch a game and drink a beer — the wine list exists as a formality, not a feature. If you're committed to wine anyway, grab the La Marca or the Joel Gott and make peace with it.

Dave & Buster's Arlington is not a wine destination — it's a place where wine exists only because it has to. Order a cocktail, play some skee-ball, and save the bottle for somewhere that actually cares.
