Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Bar Louie Irving is exactly what you'd expect walking into a chain bar at the Toyota Music Factory — it's short, familiar, and built for people who want wine without thinking too hard about it. No surprises, no discoveries, but also no disasters. It gets the job done.
We're looking at a tight roster of 15–25 labels anchored almost entirely by California brands and a couple of crowd-pleasing imports. Josh Cellars, Meiomi, Kim Crawford, La Marca — these are grocery store staples that show up because they move, not because anyone curated them. There's no old-world depth here, no skin-contact curiosity, no indie producers sneaking in through the back. What you get is a clean, predictable lineup that won't offend anyone and won't excite anyone either.
The by-the-glass program runs 10–15 options, which is actually a reasonable spread for a bar of this size and ambition. Prices land between $8 and $12 a glass, which is honest money for what's being poured. Don't expect rotation or seasonal picks — this list is set and stays set.
Meiomi Pinot Noir — $11/glass
At $11 a glass with a retail price of $18, this is the most favorable markup on the list. Meiomi is soft, a little sweet, and approachable — it's not a serious wine, but at this price in a bar setting, it's the most honest transaction on the menu.
La Marca Prosecco
Nobody orders bubbles at a sports bar, which means this one gets ignored. At $9 a glass with a retail of $13, it's the best markup deal on the list and a genuinely refreshing option if you're sitting on the patio and it's 85 degrees in Irving.
Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
It's $9 a glass for a wine that retails for $11 a bottle. That math isn't offensive, but Josh Cab is the house red of chain restaurants everywhere — it's fine, it's forgettable, and you can drink it at home for less. Order the Meiomi instead.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc + Louie's Choice Burger
Hear us out — the bright acidity and citrus zip of Kim Crawford cuts through the fat of a loaded burger better than a soft Cab ever will. It's a counterintuitive call that actually works, and at $10 a glass it won't hurt.

✔️ The Bottom Line
Bar Louie Irving is a Reliable stop if you need wine with your wings and don't want to get gouged for it. The real reason to come is Wednesday — half-price wine night turns a forgettable list into a genuinely fair deal.
Las Colinas · Irving · Cajun / Southern
Po Melvin's is almost certainly cooking something worth eating — the wine list just isn't part of the experience. Order the Riesling or Prosecco if you want wine, otherwise stick to a cold beer or whatever's on tap.

The Blue Fish is a fun night out, and the food holds up — but the wine list is running on autopilot. Order the Mumm Napa, enjoy your rolls, and don't expect the list to surprise you.

Las Colinas / Toyota Music Factory · Irving · Modern American
The Henry Las Colinas isn't a destination for wine lovers, but it's a genuinely solid neighborhood option with fair pricing and a Tuesday half-price program that makes the whole conversation more interesting. Show up on a Tuesday, order the Jordan, and stop overthinking it.

Irving Mall Area · Irving · Cajun / Creole
Razzoo's Irving is a great place to eat Cajun food and drink cold beer — the wine program is incidental and treated as such. If your table insists on wine, the Prosecco is your safest exit ramp.

Grimaldi's is worth the trip for the coal-fired pizza; the wine list is not worth thinking about. Order the Chianti or the Nero d'Avola, don't look at the markup math, and focus on the pizza.

Las Colinas · Irving · American Sports Bar / Casual Dining
Champps Las Colinas is a place to watch a game and drink a beer — the wine list exists as a formality, not a feature. If you're committed to wine anyway, grab the La Marca or the Joel Gott and make peace with it.

Bar Louie is a pre-concert cocktail bar that happens to have wine on the menu — treat it as such. If you're parked here before a show at the Toyota Music Factory, grab a glass of Prosecco and enjoy the patio; just don't come here expecting anyone to care about what's in your glass.

Dave & Buster's Arlington is not a wine destination — it's a place where wine exists only because it has to. Order a cocktail, play some skee-ball, and save the bottle for somewhere that actually cares.
