Wingman Metrics
The list is short, Italian, and unapologetic about it. You're not getting a deep cellar here — you're getting a focused lineup that matches the room: red-checkered-tablecloth energy with enough sense to pour Lugana instead of just Pinot Grigio. It's a pizzeria wine list that actually thought about pizza.
Everything on the list is Italian, which is the right call and also the only call. You've got your whites covered with Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Lugana, and Soave — more range than most places at this price point. The reds lean predictably toward Chianti, Montepulciano, Valpolicella, and Primitivo, which is exactly what you want when there's a Margherita in front of you. The Lambrusco and Prosecco inclusions show at least a little personality. What's missing is any producer-level detail — we're buying regions and grapes, not names.
Twelve by-the-glass options from a list this size is generous — nearly the whole list is available by the pour, which earns real points. Prices run €5.50–€8.00 a glass, landing squarely in the 'no-regrets ordering' zone. Rotation doesn't appear to be a priority, but the range is solid enough that you're not stuck choosing between house red and house white.
Lugana — ~$7/glass
Lugana punches well above the price — it's a serious northern Italian white with real texture and salinity that most people have never heard of. Ordering it here at pizzeria prices feels like a minor heist.
Lambrusco
Most people at a pizza place default to Chianti without a second thought. The Lambrusco is the smarter order — lightly sparkling, low in alcohol, and one of the most food-friendly wines on the planet with a saucy, cheesy pizza in front of you.
Chardonnay
With Lugana and Soave on the same list, there's no reason to order the Chardonnay. It almost certainly comes from somewhere anonymous and exists here because someone felt the list needed it. It does not.
Valpolicella + Margherita Pizza
Valpolicella's bright cherry fruit and medium body won't bulldoze a simple pizza the way a bigger red would. The acidity mirrors the tomato sauce and the wine stays light enough to let the fresh mozzarella do its thing.

Bacco isn't trying to be a wine bar — it's a pizzeria that respects the Italian tradition enough to pour the right wines at honest prices. Send a friend here without hesitation; just steer them toward the Lugana.

Bonefish Grill Harrisburg is a dependable dinner out, not a wine destination — the list is corporate-safe, the markups are real, and nobody behind the bar is losing sleep over vintage variation. Come for the seafood, pick something crisp and white, and set your expectations accordingly.

The Bread Box is clearly here for the bread, the sandwiches, and the café experience — and that's totally fine. The wine list is an afterthought dressed up in familiar labels with markups that don't reward you for paying attention. Stick to the food, order a coffee, and save the wine for dinner somewhere else.

Millworks is a brewery first and a wine destination second, but the wine list punches well above what you'd expect from a place whose tap list is the main event. Come for the beer, stay for a Grüner or a Galen Glen — and tell your wine-skeptic friends it's a brewery so they'll actually show up.

Cork & Fork is doing something genuinely worthwhile in a city where the wine bar concept hasn't exactly taken hold — the list is real, the by-the-glass program is strong, and there are bottles here worth seeking out. Send a friend here if they want something better than a chain restaurant wine list; just temper expectations on staff deep-cuts and don't blow your budget on the Veuve.

Duke's is a great spot to grab a cold drink and watch the river go by — just don't come here for the wine. Order the Cava or the Vinho Verde rosé, enjoy the deck, and save your serious wine curiosity for another night.
