The wine list at Antonia's hits differently than you'd expect from a restaurant on Duval Street — this isn't a margarita-and-move-on kind of place. Wine Spectator recognition backs it up: there's real ambition here, with bottles ranging from a $52 Malbec to a $2,250 Mouton Rothschild sitting on the same pages. The candlelit bistro vibe earns the list; this is the kind of room where you actually want to linger over a second bottle.
The list leans heavily California — Napa Cabs dominate the red section, with Duckhorn, Faust, Silver Oak, and La Jota all making appearances — but there's enough range to keep things interesting. Italy shows up meaningfully with a 2007 Brunello from Castello Banfi, Gaja Barbaresco, Tommasi Amarone, and Antinori's Il Bruciato, which is a legitimate nod to the restaurant's cuisine. Old World coverage is thin — a Henri Bourgeois Sancerre and a Chateau Haut-Brion are about the extent of it — and the Southern Hemisphere is largely an afterthought beyond the Catena Malbec. For a Wine Spectator-recognized list, you want more global curiosity, but what's here is competently assembled.
The by-the-glass program runs around eight to ten options covering the expected bases — Prosecco, Malbec, Merlot, Cab, a Rosé, and a Pinot Grigio. Prices start at $12 and climb to $28, which is fair for a Duval Street fine-dining room. Don't expect the pours to rotate seasonally; this feels like a set-it program, not one someone is actively curating.
Catena 'Vista Flores' Malbec (Mendoza, Argentina) — $52/bottle
Catena's Vista Flores is a serious single-vineyard Malbec from one of Argentina's best producers, and $52 is about as fair as Key West restaurant pricing gets. Order the bottle, not the glass.
Antinori Il Bruciato Guado al Tasso (Tuscany)
At $52 a bottle, this Tuscan blend from Antinori's coastal Bolgheri estate gets skipped by everyone ordering Napa Cabs — which is exactly why you should order it. It's structured, food-friendly, and actually makes sense with Italian food in a way that a $79 Duckhorn Merlot doesn't.
14 Hands Sauvignon Blanc (Washington)
This is a grocery store wine sitting at $35 a bottle on a list that's otherwise trying to play in a different league. It's not bad wine — it's just $10 wine in a $35 slot, and there's no reason to order it when the Sancerre exists.
Castello Banfi 'Poggio alle Mura' Riserva Brunello di Montalcino 2007 + Veal scaloppine
A 2007 Brunello Riserva is at its peak right now — the Sangiovese has softened into something elegant and earthy — and veal scaloppine is exactly the delicate, savory protein that doesn't get bulldozed by it. This is the splurge pairing that makes the whole dinner make sense.

Antonia's punches above its Duval Street zip code — the list has genuine depth and a few standout bottles worth seeking out. Markup is real, so pick carefully, but this is the right place on this street to order a real bottle of wine.

Bagatelle is doing more with wine than most restaurants in the Keys bother to attempt, and for a tourist-heavy Duval Street address, that matters. The markups are real and the list skews safe-prestige, but if you're in Key West and want a proper bottle with your lobster, this is where you go.

Moondog isn't a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — but it offers a surprisingly considered little list at prices that don't insult your intelligence, which puts it well ahead of the tourist-trap cafes clustered around it. If you're in Old Town and want a glass with your morning or a light lunch, there are worse decisions you'll make in Key West.
