Twenty-three bottles, every single one available by the glass — that's the whole concept at Vin 25, and honestly, it works. The list is tight and curated, not sprawling, and someone clearly spent real time thinking about what goes on it. This isn't a wine list built by a distributor rep on autopilot.
The list punches well above its weight for 23 labels. You've got Burgundy Chardonnay from Le Clos D'Augustin sitting next to an unoaked Chehalem Inox from Oregon, JL Chave's Mon Coeur Côtes-du-Rhône keeping company with a Jean-Michel Dupré Gamay from Beaujolais — this is a list built by someone with a point of view. The bubbles section earns its keep with Collet Brut Champagne, a Rosé Cava from Mont Marcal, and Scarpetta Prosecco, covering three different price points and styles. The one gap: no serious aged reds, no half-bottles, and the list maxes out at 23 — so if you're in a big group wanting variety, you'll hit the ceiling fast.
The entire list is by the glass, which is either brilliant or terrifying depending on how you look at it. Prices run $12–$22 per glass, which tracks reasonably against the bottle prices. The model rewards adventurous drinkers — you can move from a Weingut Gessinger Riesling to an Envoyé Pinot Noir to a Chateau Tour De Ségur Saint-Émilion all in one sitting without committing to a full bottle of anything.
Chehalem Inox Unoaked Chardonnay, Chehalem Mountains — $48
At $48 a bottle — the cheapest white on the list — you're getting a genuinely interesting, mineral-driven Oregon Chardonnay with zero oak interference. Retail on this sits around $22-25, so the markup is reasonable, and it stands out in a sea of oaked California Chardonnay.
Albaclara Sauvignon Blanc, San Antonio Valley
Chilean Sauvignon Blanc from the San Antonio Valley doesn't get the respect it deserves, and most people at this restaurant will scroll right past it for the Cliff Lede Napa. Their loss. Albaclara is bright and coastal-influenced — think Loire-adjacent without the Loire price — and at $52 it's a serious steal next to the $76 Cliff Lede.
Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley
At $76, this is the priciest white on the list, and while Cliff Lede makes a respectable wine, Napa Sauvignon Blanc at this price point rarely justifies the premium over what else is available here. The Les Cailloux Bordeaux Blanc or the Albaclara both deliver more character per dollar.
JL Chave Mon Coeur Syrah/Grenache, Côtes-du-Rhône + Charcuterie Board
JL Chave's Mon Coeur is peppery, savory, and built for exactly this situation — cured meats, soft cheeses, olives. The Grenache adds enough fruit to hold up against saltier components while the Syrah backbone keeps it from going flabby. Classic Rhône-and-charcuterie logic, and at $68 a bottle you're not crying about it.
The Bottom Line
Vin 25 is doing something genuinely smart in Roswell: a tight, well-chosen list where every bottle is open for glass pours at fair prices. It's not deep, but it's honest — and in a suburb where most wine lists read like an airport menu, that counts for a lot.

Osteria Mattone is the best Italian wine list in Roswell and probably the most honest one in the northern suburbs — deep enough on Italy to feel real, priced fairly enough that you won't wince at the check. Go on a Wednesday and you'll leave wondering why you ever pay full price for wine.
