Walking into Sigh is like someone decided a Champagne bar in wine country was a completely normal business decision — and honestly, they were right. The room is chic and intimate, the kind of place where a Tuesday evening feels like a celebration just because you showed up. The list is laser-focused: sparkling wine and nothing else, which is either your dream or your problem.
With around 100 sparkling wines on offer, Sigh isn't messing around — this is a serious collection built around Champagne with a respectful nod to California producers like Schramsberg and Iron Horse. The French side covers the expected grandes maisons — Krug, Billecart-Salmon, Dom Pérignon, Ruinart, Pol Roger — without much adventuring into Grower Champagne territory, which is the one gap worth noting. The California sparkling program is thoughtful rather than exhaustive, leaning on the Sonoma and North Coast producers that deserve the spotlight. There's no Cava, no Prosecco, no Pet Nat — and that singular focus is both the point and a potential limit depending on your crowd.
Glass pours run $18–$45, which is a wide enough spread to cover both the celebratory-but-responsible drinker and the person who just decided Krug Grande Cuvée by the glass is a Tuesday right. The range by the glass isn't fully published, but at a venue built entirely around sparkling wine, expect genuine rotation and options across house pours and premium selections. This is a by-the-glass program that takes itself seriously — this is the whole menu.
Iron Horse Classic Vintage Brut Green Valley — $18–$25/glass (est.)
Iron Horse is one of California's most respected sparkling producers and Green Valley of Russian River Valley is a serious AVA for Champagne-method wines. Getting this in a glass rather than committing to a bottle is the smart play if you want California sparkling done right without the Champagne price tag.
Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs North Coast
Schramsberg has been making serious Champagne-method sparkling wine in California since 1965 — this is not a novelty pour. The Blanc de Blancs is crisp, precise, and consistently underestimated by guests who came in fixated on French labels. Order it before someone else at your table talks you out of it.
Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé NV
Billecart Rosé is a genuinely great Champagne, but at $160 a bottle here versus $95 retail, you're paying a 68% markup — the steepest on the list. If rosé Champagne is your destination, it's still worth considering, but know you're paying a premium for the privilege of drinking it here.
Krug Grande Cuvée Brut + Caviar service
Krug's oxidative, toasty richness and serious bubble structure are built for caviar — the salinity and brine of the roe amplify the wine's complexity in a way that feels almost unfair to everything else on the menu. If you're going to spend money at Sigh, this is how you do it.

Sigh is unapologetically niche — a Champagne bar in Sonoma wine country that has absolutely no interest in being anything else, and that commitment pays off. Markup is real and you should go in with eyes open, but for a glass of Krug or an Iron Horse flight with a charcuterie board on the Sonoma Plaza, there's genuinely nowhere else quite like it.
