Walk into a P.F. Chang's expecting the wine list to be an afterthought and you won't be wrong — but you won't be entirely right either. Twenty-seven labels is more than most chain restaurants bother with, and there are a few real names buried in here. The Wednesday half-price bottle deal, though, changes the entire calculus.
The list reads like a greatest hits of American restaurant wine: Rombauer Chardonnay, The Prisoner Red Blend, Caymus-Suisun, Stags' Leap Cab. Safe, recognizable, and marked up accordingly. There's some international reach with Whispering Angel, Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, and Moët, but don't come here looking for anything adventurous or off the beaten path. The California-heavy focus makes sense for the audience, though it leaves a lot of the menu — the bright, acidic, spice-driven dishes — underserved. What's missing is anything with real acidity or lower alcohol that would actually complement the food.
By-the-glass specifics aren't published for this location, but P.F. Chang's nationally runs a select glass pour program with a happy hour price of $6.99 Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM — which is legitimately cheap if the pours are decent. We'd guess the BTG list mirrors the safe-bet bottle selection, so don't expect anything that'll make you rethink your wine life.

Decoy punches above its price point as a California Sauv Blanc, and on a Wednesday with the half-price deal it becomes genuinely good value. Crisp enough to hold up against spicy dishes, and recognizable enough that you won't have to talk anyone into it.
Caymus-Suisun 'The Walking Fool', Suisun Valley
Most people reaching for a California red here will grab The Prisoner or the Stags' Leap Cab out of habit. The Walking Fool is the more interesting pour — Suisun Valley is still flying under the radar, and this is a rich, food-friendly red blend that most diners will walk right past. Worth trying, especially at half price.
Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut, Champagne
Moët is fine, but it's one of the most marked-up bottles in any restaurant in America. At full price here, you're paying a significant premium for a Champagne that's available at every grocery store. Save it for Wednesday or skip it entirely.
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough + Chang's Lettuce Wraps
The bright citrus and green herb notes in the Cloudy Bay cut right through the richness of the chicken and hoisin filling without steamrolling the delicate crunch of the wrap. It's actually a textbook match that the menu accidentally gets right.
Wednesday — Half off all bottles of wine and Champagne every Wednesday, all day. Excludes select holidays. Separate happy hour deal: $6.99 select glass pours Monday–Friday, 3–6 PM.
The Bottom Line
P.F. Chang's is a Lazy List at full price — but on Wednesdays with bottles at half off, it earns a surprise Wild Card bump. Come for the Lettuce Wraps, order the Cloudy Bay, and don't look too hard at what you paid full price for last time.

AJ's is not a restaurant, but if you're eating in the Glendale area and want to drink well on the cheap, their wine section punches hard for a market format. The selection is thoughtful, the prices are genuinely fair, and finding Pieropan next to the prepared foods is the kind of pleasant surprise that makes us want to keep coming back.

The Lola isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that perfectly clear. If you're eating here, order the Chandon to start, pick the Cape Mentelle Semillon if you want to feel something, and budget the rest of your enthusiasm for the food.
