Eight labels isn't a wine list — it's a wine lineup, and at a neighborhood bar in Walla Walla wine country, that's a defensible choice. What catches our eye immediately is that they're not leaning on big commercial names to fill the card; there's actual local intent here. Lagana Cellars and Moonbase are Walla Walla producers, and that matters.
For eight bottles, Marcy's covers the bases with some genuine thoughtfulness. You get a local Sauvignon Blanc from Lagana Cellars, a Portuguese Vinho Verde from Arca Nova, two SMAK options covering still and sparkling rosé, a House Red, a Moonbase Syrah sourced from the Les Collines Vineyard, La Marca Prosecco for the bubbles crowd, and a Querena Cava rounding out the sparkling side. The regional range is wider than it looks on paper — Washington, Portugal, Spain, and Italy all represented. The obvious gap is that there's no Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot on the card, which feels like a deliberate move for a bar program rather than an oversight. The 'House Red' at $36 a bottle is the one anonymous entry on an otherwise named list.
Five of the eight bottles pour by the glass, and the glass pricing runs $9–$12, which is honest for a bar setting. Lagana Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, SMAK Summer Rosé, House Red, Moonbase Les Collines Syrah, and La Marca Prosecco all pour by the glass. Notably, the two bottles that don't — Arca Nova and Querena Cava — are the lowest-priced bottles on the list at $28 each, which makes them the move if you're sitting in for a while.
The Bottom Line
Marcy's isn't trying to be a wine destination, and it doesn't need to be — it's a bar in one of America's great wine towns that's made a short, honest list with a few smart local picks. The pricing is fair across the board, the Moonbase Syrah earns its spot, and the Arca Nova is a steal at $28. If you're eating out in Walla Walla and want something serious, there are better lists in town. But if you're at Marcy's, you're not going to be stuck nursing a bad glass of wine.

Runway is a one-trick pony that actually knows its trick cold. If you want still wine, go somewhere else — but if you want to work through four different expressions of sparkling wine in one sitting with a focused, purposeful list, this is a legitimately fun stop in Walla Walla. The prices run steep for the producers involved, but the concept earns some goodwill for sheer commitment.

If you're in Walla Walla and want to drink well without a PhD in wine or a big wallet, this is the stop.

Brasserie Four is a French bistro in wine country that somehow resists the obvious move of leaning hard on local bottles, and the list is better for it. Fair pricing, smart French selections, and a sparkling section that embarrasses restaurants three times its size make this a genuine destination pour in Walla Walla. If you're in town for the Washington wine trail, this is the stop where you take a break from Cab and remember France exists.
