The second you walk in, it's clear this place is selling an experience first and wine second. The list is substantial — somewhere north of 100 bottles — but it reads like a greatest hits of crowd-pleasers curated for a casino crowd with expense accounts. That's not necessarily a knock, just know what you're walking into.
California dominates, with France and Italy rounding things out in supporting roles. The anchors are exactly what you'd expect: Caymus, Jordan, Rombauer, Whispering Angel — all reliable names that sell themselves and require zero explanation from the server. There's range here, just not much adventure. If you're hoping to stumble onto a grower Champagne or a left-field Sicilian red, keep walking.
The by-the-glass program runs 12–20 options, which is respectable for a casino restaurant. The usual suspects are accounted for — a Chardonnay, a Cab, a rosé — and the pours are generous enough that you won't feel cheated. Don't expect frequent rotation; this list is built for consistency, not curiosity.
Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon — null
Jordan is one of the most consistently well-made Cabs in California and tends to be priced more fairly than the Caymus sitting next to it on most lists. If you're going red with the Beef Wellington, this is the move — known quality without the Caymus premium.
Whispering Angel Rosé
Yes, it's everywhere. But in a list this Cal-heavy, a proper Provence rosé stands out as the most food-flexible bottle on the menu. Order it for the table while everyone argues over mains and you'll look like a genius.
Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon
Caymus is marked up aggressively everywhere it appears, and a casino restaurant in Tahoe is not going to be the exception. It's a fine wine, but you're paying a significant premium for a label that practically sells itself. The Jordan drinks almost as well for less.
Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon + Beef Wellington
This is the obvious call and it's obvious for a reason. The Wellington's rich pastry crust and beef tenderloin need something with enough structure to cut through — Jordan's firm tannins and Sonoma backbone do exactly that without overwhelming the dish.

Hell's Kitchen Tahoe is a reliable wine destination if your standards are 'good bottles, properly stored, served by someone who knows what they're talking about.' It's not a destination for wine nerds, but it's not trying to be — and at least it doesn't embarrass itself.

Chart House Tahoe is a beautiful place to watch the sun drop over the water, but the wine list is strictly an afterthought — safe, generic, and clearly not a priority for the kitchen or the chain. Drink the Riesling with your fish, order the Sherry with dessert, and save your serious wine budget for somewhere that cares.
