Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Felice Westport is tiny — 12 labels total — but it's not trying to be something it's not. This is a bar menu built around aperitivo culture and after-dinner pours, and once you clock that, the whole thing makes a lot more sense. It's tight, intentional, and weirdly interesting for a Westport Italian spot.
The by-the-glass section leans heavily on Fattoria Sardi Felice house labels — their Chardonnay, Sangiovese, and Rosé all clock in at $12, which signals a house-brand-forward approach rather than a curated deep dive. What saves this list is the dessert wine section, which is genuinely excellent: Braida Brachetto d'Aqui, Coppo Moscato d'Asti Moncalvina, Bellini Vin Santo 2015, and both the Taylor Fladgate 10 and 20 Year Ports represent serious after-dinner credentials. The Marolo Barolo Chinato at $55 is the kind of thing you'd expect to find in a Piemontese wine bar, not a Connecticut Italian restaurant — it's a real outlier.
All six glass pours are priced at $12, which is refreshingly consistent and easy on the wallet. The range covers Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Rosé, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon — nothing that'll make you gasp, but solid daily-drinker coverage. Rotation doesn't appear to be part of the program; what you see is what you get.
Braida Brachetto d'Aqui 2019 — $55
Braida is one of the most respected names in Piemontese wine, and their Brachetto d'Aqui — a lightly sparkling, low-alcohol red with strawberry and rose petal character — is genuinely special. At $55 on a list that doesn't have much else to spend money on, this is the bottle worth ordering.
Marolo Barolo Chinato
Most people will see 'Chinato' and keep scrolling. Don't. This is a bitter, complex digestif made from Barolo wine and alpine herbs, and Marolo makes one of the finest versions out there. It's the kind of drink that turns dessert into an event, and almost nobody in Connecticut is pouring it.
Taylor Fladgate 20 Year Port
The Taylor Fladgate 20 Year is a fine Port, but at $160 it's the one place on this list where the markup starts to feel steep. The 10 Year at $135 is already pricey for what it is — the jump to $160 for the 20 Year doesn't offer enough additional value to justify it when the Brachetto and Chinato are right there.
Coppo Moscato d'Asti Moncalvina 2021 + Bellini Vin Santo with biscotti
The Coppo Moscato d'Asti is light, barely alcoholic, and effervescent with peach and apricot notes — it plays perfectly alongside anything sweet and nutty. If Felice is serving biscotti or an almond-forward dessert, this is the glass you want in hand. It won't overwhelm and it'll make the whole table feel like they're in Piedmont.
The Bottom Line
Felice Westport isn't a destination wine list, but the dessert wine and digestif section is punching well above its weight for a Westport bar menu. Come for the aperitivo, stay for the Barolo Chinato.

Epernay Bistro is the rare spot that commits completely to a single vision — all sparkling, all the time — and mostly pulls it off. The Grande Marque markups sting, but the Crémant picks and flexible pour sizes make this a legit destination for anyone who thinks bubbles shouldn't be saved for special occasions.

Send your wine-curious friends here; they'll leave more interested in Barbera and Falanghina than when they walked in.
