You're sitting on a terrace with vineyard rows stretching to the horizon, and the wine list lands in your hands โ it's essentially a Ponte Winery catalog with table service. That's not a criticism so much as a heads-up: if you came here expecting a curated tour of Temecula Valley producers, adjust expectations now.
The list runs 40-60 bottles deep, but the breadth is more illusion than reality โ it's Ponte top to bottom, with bottles ranging from their easy-drinking Pinot Grigio and Moscato up through a Super Tuscan-style blend called Super T that actually shows some ambition. There's no outside producers, no old-world detour, no guest cameos from neighboring Temecula estates like Leoness or Ballard. What you do get is a coherent, estate-grown narrative that fits the setting, and the wines are estate-grown on the property surrounding you โ so the terroir argument is at least honest. Gaps are obvious for anyone who wants variety, but if you're here for a full Ponte experience, the list delivers exactly that.
Ten to sixteen pours on rotation keeps things moving, with the Pinot Grigio, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon all appearing as regulars by the glass. The wine flights โ five pre-selected estate pours โ are the real move here, giving you a structured tasting without leaving your dinner table. Glass pour pricing runs $11โ$15, which is genuinely reasonable for a hotel restaurant with vineyard views.
Ponte Winery Pinot Grigio โ $11
At $11 a glass against a $19 retail price, this is one of the softer markups on the list. It's a clean, easy sipper that works well in the outdoor terrace heat, and you're not getting gouged for the view.
Ponte Winery Super T
It's listed as a Super Tuscan-style blend and most people scroll right past it for the familiar Cab or Pinot Grigio. At $14 a glass, it's the most interesting thing on the list โ a Sangiovese-forward Italian-grape blend grown in Southern California that actually has something to say.
Ponte Winery Cabernet Sauvignon
At $15 a glass, the Cab carries the steepest markup of the bunch โ 113% over retail โ and Temecula Cab in a warm-climate vintage can be a lot of oak and not a lot else. With better options at lower relative markups, this one's easy to leave alone.
Ponte Winery Sangiovese + Italian-inspired gourmet entree
Sangiovese is literally built for Italian food โ the grape's natural acidity cuts through rich sauces and stands up to herbs the way California Cab can't. Ordering the Ponte Sangiovese alongside anything Italian-inflected on the menu is the obvious call, and it's one that actually works.
๐ฒ The Bottom Line
Bouquet is a one-winery show, and that winery is standing right outside the window โ so if you're cool with that, the pricing is fairer than most hotel wine programs and the setting earns its keep. Send a friend here for the Ponte experience, not for wine list exploration.
South Temecula / Pechanga Resort Area ยท Temecula ยท Fine Dining Steakhouse
Great Oak is a reliable, well-run resort steakhouse wine program โ the sommelier presence and proper storage elevate it above the casino norm, but steep markups and a brand-name-heavy list keep it from being anything more than a very comfortable choice. Send a friend here if they want a guaranteed-good bottle of California Cab with a great steak; steer them elsewhere if they're looking for discovery.

Cafรฉ Champagne is a lovely place to drink Temecula wine if you're already in Temecula โ the sparkling program is the real draw and the estate-only format at least has a clear point of view. Just don't show up expecting a deep, exploratory list; this is winery dining, not a wine destination in the broader sense.

Vindemia is a Wild Card in the truest sense: a tiny estate list, fair glass prices, a hillside setting, and a Wednesday deal that should be on more people's calendars. Show up on a weekday, order the Zinfandel Riserva, and let the food truck handle the rest.

Danza del Sol isn't trying to be a destination wine list โ it's a winery that pours its own stuff on a dog-friendly patio, and in that context it mostly delivers. If you're already in Temecula wine country and you want somewhere to land for an hour with a board and a glass of local Tempranillo, this is a solid call.
