The wine list earned a White Star rating from Star Wine List, which validates the depth and quality. The ever-changing list covers deep Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Priorat, and Rias Baixas, plus South American selections. By-the-glass prices are approachable, and the rotating selection means there is always something new.
Their signature Aperitivos wine flight ($13.50) gives you half-pours of Cava, dry sherry, and red vermouth on the rocks with orange. That flight alone is a masterclass in Spanish drinking culture for the price of a cocktail. Sangria is made with actual Rioja, not the sugar-bomb version. Il Premio is a steakhouse that took its wine list seriously enough to skip the obvious plays, and the result is one of the more interesting Italian-focused lists in Atlanta right now. It's compact, priced fairly across the board, and built for exploration — whether you're going glass by glass through the Italian regions or just need a solid bottle of Chianti Classico at $72 to make a steak dinner feel right. We'd send a friend here specifically for the wine.
